Even Kellerman agreed that the fight could have been scored 4-2 in favor of Canelo after 6. Anyone who thinks Bumlovkin swept rounds 4-9 is blind.
True or False : Floyd's hometown is Vegas. That's where he lives, is it not. He won a decision in his hometown. That doesn't mean Canelo was robbed or that Floyd didn't deserve to win. But it was certainly a hometown decision.
Of course there is an argument for him winning. That's precisely what I'm doing. 1,2,3,4,10,11,12 seem to me to be Canelo rounds. If you disagree, then put forth a convincing argument. Pick apart my round 4 punch summary. Convince us G won that round.
You switched sides rather quickly. You got baited back into the Canelo Floyd arguments of the past rather than focusing on the here and now which is Canelo Triple G scoring. What you were saying on page 1 and 2 was on point.
Sounds about right to me. I could certainly understand someone giving G the 5th with that hard right hand that G landed with Canelo on the ropes, but for the first half of that round it was all Canelo. But 1-4 seemed to be clear Canelo rounds to me. There wasn't much in the first round but I still preferred the work from Canelo.
I had rounds 3 and 4 to GGG as he took control of the ring. Nothing that Canelo landed phased GGG. Round 4 was particularly easy to score for GGG. 3 was closer but still his. Rounds 1 and 2 I had Canelo winning quite clearly imo.
In all seriousness, I'm really not trolling. Just giving my thoughts on who won the rounds, and seeing who agrees or where we differ.
I haven't read any of this post but I know you scored Canelo vs Mayweather very close which is laughable, so I'm guessing you're probably going to give most of the first 6 rounds to Canelo, which is again, laughable. Let me know if I'm right.
Nothing that G landed in rounds 3 and 4 phased Canelo either. It wasn't until the final minute of the 5th that G landed anything of note which was that hard right hand. Before that, Canelo was really having his way with G completely outboxing him. After that punch in the 5th though, G definitely turned the tide and took momentum of the fight. What I'm trying to highlight is the fact that the momentum didn't turn in G's favor until 1:00 left in the 5th with that right hand. Before that, it really was all Canelo. Just look at Abel Sanchez in the corner after the 4th, he's stressing the need for G to do something with Canelo on the ropes.
I thought Canelo won rounds 1-4, G won rounds 5 & 6. How is that laughable? Most agree that Canelo won the first 3 rounds, the debatable one appears to be the 4th.
No they do not. Also Round 4 was a very easy round to score for Golovkin, I don 't know why that round is even being talked about.
What specifically in round 4 did G do to Canelo to earn him the round? Canelo landed the harder jabs clearly and landed more body shots.
It's being talked about because I want to understand why folks thought G won that round. What did he do better than Canelo in that round? It seems to me that Canelo landed the better punches in that round. If you disagree, then show me the punches that you thought won G the round?
Sides don't matter. I stuck to what I said and did not change my argument. It does make me look bad defending someone who thought Floyd/Canelo was a draw.
