What more proof do you need? The man looked like a corpse the whole week of the fight and was gassed by round 5.

Yeah but people say thats the only reason that he had trouble with Paulie. I know Cotto won the fight and he did kill himself but 36hrs is alot between weigh in and the fight.

He did have to drain himself but he was big and powerful that night and I don't think he was gassed out by the 5th because he came back so strong in the 11th and the 12 rds. Cotto won the fight but I don't think Paulie did good only because Cotto was drained but It was a good fight and it will help Paulie in the future.

to dehydrate and then rehydrate that quickly is extremely dangerous.

take a look at some of these pictures, cotto looks like a zombie.

I saw Paulie around New Utrecht all the time I just graduated school there last year. The rite aid I work at and see him is at 15ave and 86st. The Gym is a small gym at 24st and 2ave.

I see your point but he should of have rehydrate in 36hrs. He came in big at fight night but It doesn't matter because Cotto won the fight but the Paulie haters excuse they used that it was a weight drained Cotto he fought thats the only reason he did good. I like Cotto and Paulie and I thought it was a really good fight.

It moved from Sunset and now it's in Park Slope. It's really a small and shitty gym but It's cool and it's a couple of stops away from my crib. It's upstairs on a small building and it's not in good shape. To be honest I wouldn't be shocked if It closed down soon. I should try Gleansons gym. How is it there?

this **** pisses me off when my favourite fighters have to fight each other

first it was dlh vs ssm, then cotto vs malignaggi, then it was cotto vs judah and now cotto vs ssm, i hope cotto vs dlh dont happen.

He is a good guy and all, but come on, he is not exactly a tabloid superstar is he?

Is he referring to his interview with Jose''onfire''Aguirre perhaps?

    Must have been harrowing.

I meant the PR crowd and the people rooting for Cotto and booing him in a fight. If he fought Hatton he would go through the same thing if he fought Hatton. It was a good learning experiance.

You can't blame cotto's gassing entirely on weight... he gasses a LOT- look at him and moseley... There is a reason why when the two of them fought cotto had only gone passed round 6 4 times... He goes balls to the wall all the time. Not that that is a bad thing, in fact that is why he has so many fans!

cotto and mosley were both throwing a huge amount of punches even in the later rounds.

big difference is that in the malignaggi fight cotto was protecting a lead and against mosely it was all up in the air right up til the end... ya know?
