Quintana is a very solid fighter - underrated at that. He will be very game, however, Williams is too much and will win a comfortable UD by outworking him.

If he losses that is exactly what will happen.

Problem is, I dont see him losing.

    Williams by TKO stoppage late

see thats the problem right there, people like you are predicting a blow out by williams, when it doesn't happen you guys are going to call williams a bum for not blowing him out like you expected.

same thing happened with malignaggi, everyone thought malignaggi was going to take ngoujo to school, now just because malignaggi do what people expected him to do he is a bm.

Williams will stop Quintana in 6. Too big, too strong, too busy, to fast, too long, too good. Be serious.

Williams is a head hunter and Quintana moves his head well. This is going the distance but Williams will out work him.

i see quintana could be stopped. although i agree he is a good boxer, his fight with Cotto showed he isn't a real durable fighter... before the body shot he already looked like a defeated fighter looking a for a way out.

Yeah he was. He was looking for a comfy spot on the mat to receive his fate. But Williams goes for the head too much and quintana will have a lot of counter options. Williams is sloppy, but he is tough and can take a punch and his stamina is insane. I got to think on this.

quintana won i think 2 rounds in that fight, quintana was doing well, he even stunned cotto with his own body shot (straight left through the middle), the mistake was he started trading blow for blow with cotto,

if you watch the 5th round you'll see at the beginning of the round quintana looks normal, by the end his face looked like it was run over by a truck.

I know he did good a couple rounds against Cotto.... But it seem that when Cotto mounted the pressure, Quintana broke. I seriously thought he could have done better, but he fought like he didn't want to be there that night. Im not sure if he was already defeated mentally before the fight, since it showed that he obviously had a LOT of respect for Cotto, considering Cottos success and the fact they are both from PR. I can't say for sure, but he seemed a bit intimidated by Cotto.

Hey man, Im not saying that I would call him a bum. I just know that if he loses, thats what will happen. It happened to Margo, and it happened to Cintron(and he didnt even loose!!) and tons of other fighters. Hell I remember when Valuev even got hyped up on this board. Then when he lost, whoops no one wants anything to do with him.

I dont see Williams loosing because he is so damn busy, and to go along with that he is incredibly tall and he can take a punch as seen in the mitchell, maythesse, and margarito fights.

Paul Williams is a solid fighter and the future of the welterweight division.

Quintana has good height, reach, speed and he can box nicely using his jab and feet. On top of that he can throw quite a few punches for twelve rounds. Hes a legit contender and a very good fight for Williams.

Williams fought Margo then was gonna fight Cintron. The step in is Quintana.

    What a geezer.
