Sorry for the slow reply i forgot about the thread. I'm more than happy to post my scorecard up if you do.
Along with the 3 other professional judges. Go do a search for my scorecard. I was going to get it for you but I decided not to.
Martinez - Williams 119 - 110 williams Campillo - Shumenov 117 - 111 Shumenov Guzman - Funeka EVERY SCORECARD! Alot of the time the judges don't know what the **** they're doing but i'm sure you can ignore that if it suits your arguement, and i'm not going to waste my time searching for some scorecard that I already know will be absolute ****. I mean based on the tenents of scoring a fight. Clean EFFECTIVE punching, effective agression, defence and ring generalship where did Mayweather win the fight? I look forward to your childish reply :good
I went back and watched that fight a while back and forgot how much of a different style Floyd had back then. Different stance, different offense, defense. He was not the consummate counterpuncher that he is today...he actually dared to mix it up a little something.
Not every judge is going to get it perfect, ALL 3 judges scored this fight identical. I didn't see the Guzman fight so I can't comment. I would love to everyone's first scorecard of the fight, it's probably WAY different from the card they have now. Judges don't get replay, judge's don't get the TV angles. We do, and we can watch it over and over. Anytime a person has a judges scorecard different from theirs, the JUDGE is wrong. It's never he saw it differently. It was, he was wrong. Give me a ****ing break.
The MAJORITY of people has the fight to Castillo, about 7-5 that is a BIG difference between the 115 - 111 cards. The majority of Mayweathers punches were jabs, Castillo mainly threw power punches. Castillo fought his fight and manouvered Floyd to the ropes. He landed the harder more effective punches and swept the championship rounds. Castillo also landed at a HIGHER percentage than Mayweather... where did Floyd win this fight??
Just because majority of people see it one way, does not mean it's right or wrong. There's been countless polls, and a lot of them come up to around 60-40 in favor of Castillo or 55-45 in favor of Castillo. Majority sure, but not by a lot. This fight was a toss up. If you had Castillo winning that's fine. I had Floyd winning. And using punch stats means nothing on scoring a fight.
