Everyone knows he schooled castillo in the rematch, but do you know why a rematch even happened? Because floyd ****ing lost and he knew it. Arum walked right up to castillo and promised him a rematch because he knew he was robbed.
so you went from originally scoring the fight for floyd, to saying the fight wasnt even close, makes sense
Insofar as you're referring to power punches and jabs as stats and not as the punches themselves, then yes, they meaning nothing when it comes to scoring a fight.
BLAH BLAH BLAH I see no score from ppl saying floyd won. Score and post or shut up. round by round score, or you're **** sucking again.
Alright, I'll restate the sentence even though it is glaringly obvious what I was saying: "It has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that punch stats are not relevant in scoring boxing matches." As redundant as it is to have to do that, I guess it's necessary with some of the people here.
and people saying floyd schooled castillo in the rematch are full of **** too....floyd didnt school ****, just won a close fight.....that fight was 7-5 in favor of may, no way was that a schooling........
There was a rematch because the first fight was close. That's how things happen in boxing when it's being managed properly. Close fights often warrant rematches and in this case the right thing happened. Credit to Floyd for granting a rematch.
Rematch was to shut up all the people who said he got a gift. The scores didn't have it as close. It wasn't even a SD/MD So... ??????? a UD for floyd = close fight? Get the **** out of here. Gift decision loss.
Good job exposing yet another of his inconsistencies. There are many, but when you put it side by side like that it really demonstrates the sort of person we're dealing with here. Someone who can flip-flop so drastically on an issue can hardly be held as credible.
114-112 for Mayweather was my card. It was close, but clear to me. Mayweather won. The judges got it right, just too wide of a margin.
Haven't watched it in a while and I didn't score it when I did, but I thought it was close and felt like castillo won it by roughing mayweather up. I also don't really give a ****. Scores I disagree with happen all the time. I'm simply happy that a rematch happened and there was a clear result. It was hardly a robbery, either way.
