Just watched Cloud vs. Capillo last night

I watched with the sound off and had it 114-112 Cloud myself, though definitely felt like Campillo did more overall. 116-110 was an abhorrent card. I realize I'm in the minority, and I would have no problem with it going a high as 115-111 for Campillo though.

 

I just watched it and I'm pissed off. I've been following Campillo for quite some while and was happy to see he got a high profile fight. He then fights better than he ever did, only to be blatantly robbed.

 

i got pissed since they announced it was a SD. what a robbery. even Clouds mom passed out cuz she couldnt believe Cloud won

 

phoenix has a lot of bad decisions as well. they always go for the local guys even if its without a doubt type of decision. as a boxer going to another place to fight, i think you should know these types of things.

 

I think she fainted from shame.

The strangest thing of all was Cloud, after his mom collapsed 3 feet away from him, NOT rushing over to see if she was OK. He even told the interviewer "Nah, she's OK" and kept on talking, WHILE SHE WAS STILL UNCONSCIOUS."

What a butt-hole.

 

It was disgusting, almost a bad a Wlordczyck vs Palacios last year. I feel for Campillo man, he got horribly robbed vs Shumenov too, he's a very good boxer. It's sad that it's gotten to the point where every boxing fan on earth was half expecting the robbery and even numerous posters on here predicted a robbery in this fight.....it's to the point where as soon as they said split decision everyone watching knew they were gonna give the gift to Cloud. Sad ****.

Cloud claiming he won at the end was pathetic! The guy got owned and made to look amateur for 11 rounds. No plan B in his game. If anything this proved that Cloud is not top 5 material at LHW. Can't wait for him to fight another live body and get his ass kicked but being with King I doubt we'll see this for a long time, after this schok he'll be back to fighting no hopers and holding his paper title hostage for as long as possible.

Lost all respect for Cloud when he said "Yeah we'll give him a rematch later on but we're gonna move on to bigger and better things." He knows he got his ass beat and he doesn't want that headache again, he wants a big payday before he officially loses his 0 and his belt.

No kidding, he showed no emotion "She's gonna be ok, she's a strong woman" How did he know she wasn't having a heart attack? Brainless, emotionless fool. atsch

I thought Campillo won that clearly, even with the 10-7 first round.

 

I honestly don't know if these judges are corrupt or just terribly incompetent. Either way, something drastic has to be done. I can't blame fans who walk away from the sport after nonsense like this.

The sad thing is, I'm not even sure if this is the worst decision he's been on the wrong end of - the Shumenov re-match was even worse. I hope Campillo doesn't lose heart.

 

yea that was a bad decision i Cloud said during the interview that he was the aggressor and that he was walking campillo down? what about the rounds when campillo was walking you down and you couldn't cut the ring effectively? what about when Gabriel threw a combination you didn't have an answer nor did you attempt to trade with him in spots where campillo was there to hit while he threw those accurate combos...cloud clearly lost this one and if he wouldn't have knocked out Yusaf Mack he was on the same path...I see a current bernard and dawson wining wide ud agianst this guy

 

Boxing is like the only sport where even if you clearly win and dominate your opponent, they can still take away the win. It's just a shame when a guy earns his victory and you have these idiots judges taking the victory away. It must be demoralizing.
