:-( settle the score? dont get it twisted klion22, i'd love to see a 3rd fight esp at 140 where pac would finish his ass once'n for all. TRUST. marq is 35 and i dont see the additional weight playing out in his favor, ya'digg. unless you had really had jmm blowing out pac in either fight, its fair to say both fights were close and could have gone either way. and with that said, history will have pac "1 win 1 draw with 4 KD's over juan." now manny could potentially fight cotto or even shane. and i swear, i wouldnt be surprised if floyd comes out of the woodworks after pac eats the english mc muffin in better fashion than he did. either ****ing way manny has more options & he doesnt need jmm for ****. get over it.
First off, i'm not a Pac fan. I'm neutral in this debate. I like both guys. But as a fan of the sport, you don't think a trilogy is necessary? Also, it doesn't matter what the official results say, the people who know will know that JMM took Pacman to the limits in both fights. Many had him winning the 2nd one. And if he's dumb enough to fight real WW's like Cotto, PBF, and Mosley, he's really stupid now.
maybe if you realize that jmm will always be there you'd understand that a scrap with SM, MC, or FM over a jmm trilogy isnt that stupid for a shot at immortality. the opportunity & challenge is undeniably greater. pac is fearless & fighting to the upmost and many would say beyond his ability on all counts taking NO shorts. if he gets KTFO at WW -so the **** what! at least he had the balls to step up and take a chance. besides all that jmm will still be there waiting.
That was a fight that had me acting a fool.... I was talking to the TV. I knew Marquez was going to pull off the KO after the 5th round. Somehow I felt it coming but was just a matter on when. It kept seeming like Diaz was overwhelming him and making JMM fight at a crazy pace. That was why we all love boxing.
Scurla, Papa I was there live so you already know I was hyped as hell. From the moment the bell rang in the first round until it was over I was sitting on the edge of my seat. **** I jumped up so many times that my wife had to pulled me down because she didnt want the dude (big ****ing Mexican) sitting behind us to start bitching lol....She pulled me down so many times that my shirt came out of pants in the back...:yep But like I said on my other thread it was a brilliant night for boxing and boxing fans all over. I only hope that Pac vs Hatton turns out better.....:good
The greatness of this fight is 95% attributable to Diaz. His aggression forced JMM to reciprocate the workrate. I am now a Diaz fan and I would love to see him against Valero or Joan Guzman at 135 next.
