Lewis won round 6 on all 3 scorecards, and VITLAY was stumbling around like a Saturday night ****-head for the last 30 seconds of that round. Lewis was speaking the truth in the post fight interview, VITLAY was about to be knocked out.
Because we already saw what would happen when he fought Lewis. He got busted up badly and lost. There's no mystery to this. End of story.
Ali cheated. As soon as Cooper was cut he blatantly targeted the damage and made it worse. Just like Lewis did with VITLAY. How spiteful can you get?
Also he must of known he only had a limited amount of time in the ring due to the cut.... surely if he had so much left he should of being trying to KO Lewis and not cuddling him all round eating massive uppercuts
Yes, that big uppercut caused VITLAY to clinch for a full 30 seconds, Sanders hit him with a hard shot and he ran across the ring as though he was being propositioned by a female. Yet we're led to believe this man has an iron chin
Finally, a voice of reason. Lewis knew he had his hands full, so he retire instead of taking a huge risk in fighting Vitali, again. Sneak out the back door, rather than make a mega payday and rematch a cut stoppage. A fight he was losing on the cards.
The trouble is, when you're a challenger you get one shot at the champion, and VITLAY got his face ripped off in his one chance. Shame.
Maybe he should have faced Vitali, Wlad, Ruiz.... and boxed until he was 45 then he would really be the champ :nut Vitali was a challanger..... a pretty unknown challanger at that..... 37/38 year old champs don't owe any challanger a rematch Now I'm off to bed
Honestly dont KNOW??:roll: But Ashrodumus brings up SEVERAL VALID Qs????:admin1)Why no rematch??2)Was Lennox more exhausted then Vitali??3)Wasnt Vitali landing more bombs??
Wow,is that the flag that Lennox was waiving when he won the medal at the Olympics? No, that was the CANADIAN flag.
We can debate this forever and ever but it's not going to change what happened. I think Vitali would've stopped Lewis or won a moderately close decision, like 116-112 or so.
