Just watched Margarito/Clottey...

    Watched the 1st 2 rds on Youtube and the poster has a link to watch the rest of the fight.

    no he is not overrated to those who know of him its his lack of fanbase.i would of much rather see him in the upcoming fight with mosley,but juda is almost a certain look good win with a high profile name.it is still hard to say how good he is based on he has only foght one top level guy in margarito.and the hand **** is an excuse injuries happen its a part of boxing so many guys get hurt most of them don't use it as an excuse. also its hard to say how focused margarito was at that time.because he definitely didn't look as sharp between the clottey and williams fight wher he was just giving away the early rounds

    Clotty is a fighter who has little too no apeal. Basiclly nobody cares about him.

    This is not a knock on Clottey, but he is getting too much credit for a fight he lost(vs Margarito)!

    He did look good the first 4 rounds but AM(as he usually does) took over after that--despite Margarito's late start he still won the fight hands down(and they both were fighting with injured hands).

    IMO, Margartio would beat Clottey again!

    Clottey is a very good fighter and would be a hanbfull for any top WW .. . but lets keep one thing clear. . . Margarito won that fight - and it wasnt really that close.

    Clottey is VERY underrated. He'll give ANY welterweight problems I don't care who it is.

    He won 5 rounds easily....that automatically makes it a close fight....

    5 "easy" rounds= Bull****.

    1st round was real tight.

    3-4 I gave to Clottey

    5 up was pretty much Margarito's fight, not easy rounds but most pretty convincing for AM!

    If Clottey was an averager fighter you would have a point - but he's not, so you dont.

    Clottey is a very good fighter and AM clearly beat him.

    I first wanna say that I like Margarito and Im glad to see him get the opportunity of his life to fight Cotto and believe it will be one hellova fight. That being said Clottey proved, at least to me, that he is the superior fighter. He landed the cleaner, harder punches that did some damage to Margarito's "iron chin". Obviously Margarito won the fight but clearly Clottey's hand injury played a major roll in the outcome. He basically stopped throwing punches.

    I don't know if Clottey is underated. But I have been saying for a couple of years now Margarito is overrated
