Mosley never allowed that fight to be a toe to toe battle because Margo seems to enjoy those. That way Mosley wasnt as worn out because he never took that many shots, but gave more shots. Pacqiuao wont be able to tie Margo up like that so I expect him to use the ring, and be forced onto the backfoot by the bigger man.

Pacqiuao UD is very likley, Pacqiuao KO would be suprising.

Pacquiao hasn't really been in the ring with a guy who applies pressure like Margarito, especially not one as physically imposing as he is. Pac has the footwork and stamina to execute the flurry and pivot/move gameplan I expect to see in place, but as the fight wears on it'll be interesting to see how Pacquiao reacts to the increasing pressure as Margarito continues to walk him down... especially if Margo manages to land enough to the body to slow him down.

The most dangerous thing for Pacquiao is Margarito's level of motivation. He has EVERYTHING to prove here, you can bet he'll be training harder for this fight than any other in his career, and he'll bring that same intensity into the ring next month.

Speaking purely hypothetically here but suppose the Mosley fight was a blip, that Margo beat Cotto fair and square (i.e. his handwraps were fine), and that a more motivated version of the guy that beat Cotto that night turns up to fight Pacquiao... this fight definitely has the potential to be a lot closer than everyone expects it to be.

Margarito should be very motivated. His reputation took a dive, and he lost badly to Mosely. He's got something to prove. I've heard he had a good training camp. He's not as skilled as Paq, but he has had his best fights against smaller guys, and his strength will be more obvious against Paq than it was against Mosely, who's just naturally bigger and stronger than Paq.
Manny could find himself with his hands full against an inspired, conditioned Maragrito coming at him and swinging away.

AM, is a big guy with a good chin and throws alot of punches. If AM doesn't have a script to follow then this fight might be interesting.

    1. Height and size advantage.
    2. Outstanding workrate, infinite stamina, and relentless pressure.
    3. Best chin in boxing today.

I dont see him losing by KO. But if he doesnt knock Pacquiao out and he starts too late to pick up a decision, I dont see him winning either.

This is a completely different fight... While I think Pac hits as hard or harder than Mosley, I think he's way off as far as physical strength goes.. We haven't seen anyone who could keep Marg off them for the entire fight besides Mosley, who had to resort to some great grappling techniques...

so if Marg starts landing he is able to mentally gain steam really quick...
