There is just no justification for Floyd to believe he deserves more money. The majority of people in the know about boxing regard Pac as the #1 fighter in the world, and the overwhelming majority regard him as the more exciting fighter.

Ugh no, Oscar gets paydays because of Latinos, and Pacquiao because of Pinoys:D. I don't know if you noticed but theres alot of them living in the US.

Face it Americans could care less about Floyd and boxing. Its us foreigners keeping boxing alive.

Pacquiao sold 51,000 seats in Dallas, in a foreign country to him.
Mayweather could not sell out the MGM in his hometown.

Whoever doesn't accept 50/50 is ducking

And they're still contributing to sales in America. They probably live an American life style with an American citizenship. $'s sales in America > emmanuel's sales in America. I guess no Americans buy his fights.:-(

Fighter of the year and fighter of the decade doesn't really mean squat in this discussion, why? because Floyd has more support, he is the bigger draw, draws more PPV's and he did the bigger gate....even when Manny took his fight to the epicly great Dallas stadium!!! :nut

Floyd was the P4P #1 fighter in the world when Oscar fought him, BHop was the P4P #1 fighter in the world when Oscar fought him, Manny was the #1 P4P fighter in the world when Oscar fought him......Oscar got the bigger piece of the pie every time.....so there ya go.

You saying Manny is the bigger draw WORLD-WIDE is a bit skeptical also. Why? Because he isn't american? Ok, I knwo in the philipines, he's the bigger draw.....but what about all of europe??? Show me some stats that Manny does better numbers then floyd over there and I'll concede on that point, because I'd be inclined to think Floyd is bigger over there.

Manny is the "face of boxing" because his star blew up when Floyd left, that is the truth. He became the "rebound" star for boxing fans to go to, in the wake of Floyd's early retirement. Well Floyd is now back, just did 1.4 million buys against the worlds #1 WW, and dominated him! He has successfully reclaimed his spot atop the boxing world.

You do realize that a $1000 ticket in Las Vegas is harder to sell than a $60 ticket in Dallas, right?

A lot of the people who attended the fight in Dallas couldn't sniff the MGM for a 2-day vaction if they saved $$ for 6 months.

mistake: I was trying to quote Leo357

Ok Manny did 700k buys with Clottey
He will do 2.8mil with Floyd

You see Floyd then deserves 75% of the purse :nut You are ratarded sir :patsch

yo at the end of the day....

floyd's latest fight broke into the top 10 fights @ the gate

manny never has done that... not even at that big ass stadium

floyd out performed manny in all apsects of ppv... all this global **** is speculative with no numerical truth to it.... no stats to prove its true....

pac deserves more than floyd. pac is the face of boxing. he's more exciting. he has superior competition, and when they've shared opponents he's been more impressive in general

the only people who care are the people who want to be able to point the finger at the other part and blame the other fighter if the fight doesn't happen.

Floyd nuthuggers will argue that Floyd deserves the lion share so that if the fight doesn't happen they can blame Pac because obviously Floyd asking for a bigger cut is justified.

Pac nuthuggers will argue the Pac deserves 50% so that if the fight doesn't happen they can blame Floyd because obviously Floyd asking for a bigger cut is means he's just scared of Pac

It's so predictable I'm actually surprised I spent time to write this. Oh well.
