Usyk punches a lot harder than Huni. Huni hit Wardley with so many clean shots during the fight but never actually hurt Wardley really.
I thought Huni looked great right up to getting knocked out, he showed he is world level, he just got caught. In regards to his power, I don’t think he has terrible power and he throws hard, this is probably something he can work on. If he doesn’t find some power he will have some tough times and long fights. I still think he’s got the goods.
You've posted many moronic posts over the years and thus one is top ten. Huni was hit square in the middle of his face you idiot. On his NOSE, not his jaw. Study human anatomy before making such nonsensical threads.
To be fair I saw these flaws before the fight too. My prediction in the prediction thread was that Huni would be head on the scorecards when Wardley ended it, because of these flaws. Huni is clearly the superior boxer I knew that going it but his style where he has to be the one pressing because he's only effective in mid and close range and that Lerena had him in trouble all pointed to an outcome where he could be dominating but could get caught and stopped. If Huni can learn to be more effective from range then he might have a future and a higher ceiling than Wardley. It would mean he wouldn't always have to be the one pressing and always putting himself in firing range all the time which is why I predicted the come from behind KO for Wardley. It was always going to be a fight where Huni needed to be perfect for every second of every round which is why I went with Wardley.
A HW with no power and a grade D mandible is always going to fall below fringe world level. Huni has the deadly combination all in one.
He's in a horrible position. Incredible skills, but as a trade off just doesn't seem to have the ability to take the type of shots he's going to continue to get hit with by other heavyweights. Absolutely incredible skills for a heavyweight.
Pretty harsh, Wardley hits hard and Huni made pretty much the 1st mistake he made all night be squaring his feet and got caught right on the button by a punch he never saw coming. It was also a punch that caught him with 'dual momentum' as Huni was coming into it, so pretty much worst case for him. If Huni was packing glass he would have been down and out from the sweet uppercut he took really well in round 3 IIRC. I swear it's either Adamantium or Glass, maybe there's room for some tin, brass, steel in between?
Thanks mate. I love the guy. He’s crazy talented and a really humble, nice human being. He’s a dude that you can get behind and he’s really good. But he has some problems that he needs to work through. I’m not sure if he can but I’m hoping he does.
This punch would knock down every heavyweight in the world. Huni took some shots throughout the fight showing his chin is at least all right.
Huni has a similar problem to Hrgovic, he lacks power and is forced to box all the rounds, I think you have to be technically excellent to compensate for the shortcomings, Huni is technically extremely skilled but when you find yourself against an elite puncher then it is always dangerous, I won't say that Huni has a glass chin because Wardley with the power he possesses can knock anyone down...
are u kidding? that was a bomb that would have floored EVERY single heavyweight. u should leave the forum immediately for such a terrible statement.
One of the most flimsy - and most unprovable - of the assertions made by those who deny the existence of glass jaws. And this is made all the more absurd by adding that it would knock down literally "every heavyweight in the world." All we can say with any certitude is that punch knocked out Justus Huni. And given that Huni was KOd in sparring and put on ***** street by cruiserweight Kevin Lerena, I would say it's much more likely he's packing some very fragile GLASS in that mandible!!!
