Hey man, I want DREAM to succeed, no matter how much flak I give Aoki. And Ive only in the past year or so really got into K1 aswell. But J-MMA is in alot of trouble, hopefully they can turn the corner, get their core audience back and thrive from there
Dream sucks and has shitty fighters. K-1 was just mismanaged, and the method is which these guys are chosen to fight each other is not good. Even getting access to K-1 videos is not good. Very few are for sale. Mechandising of K-1 assests was inneficient even when they were at the height of popularity.

The fighting industry is dead in Japan. Pro-wrestling is now a pay day for K-1 fighters who need work. Iishi was supposed to be ttge saviour and he was a joke. The knock on effect is huge as I think we will see a return of the old days where Greco wrestling stars now go into pro-wrestling first. MMA isnt the attractive career path it was and I think companies like New Japan Pro Wrestling will look to take advantage and get the wrestlers from university and olympic trials
