    1st. Boente is NOT a promoter. He is the manager. K2 is the promoter (Loeffler is president)

    Chef, you ought to let Bernd know he is enjoying a loyal following here at ESB (as I am sure he cares). Most charismatic promoter since Don King as far as I'm concerend.

    We will get him nominated for the HOF. Maybe not first ballot but he'll get in :deal

    I'm a Haye fan from his CW days, but this made me laugh out loud. Funnily enough though, Haye is actually the close thing to Floyd in the HW division.

    Bernd is a manager/promoter/matchmaker/icon/ambassador of the sport.

    He is all in one and a future HOFer.

    Well I see two K brothers, CHEF, Loeffler, Banks, Afolabi, GGG on one level. That's the employee level of K2.

    And then on top of the food chain you got Bernd Bonte. Manager, Owner and Promoter. The man with the slave contracts. The iron negotiator. The eloquent trash talker. The charismatic businessman.

    Bonte worked at Premiere TV (German Pay TV station) in the 90s, then at Universum Boxing Promotion in Hamburg (where Ahmed Öner broke his arm in a scuffle, Öner was later wounded by gunshots in a dark alley by an unknown shooter). Then he started K2 and got the brothers as his employees, potentially in slave contracts.

    Now he's the biggest promoter in HW boxing since Don King. From rags to riches :deal
