I know you sympathize with ducks for obvious reasons, but ducking GGG and Canelo payday for Bundrage is beyond pathetic.

A tune up? How many ****ing tune-ups does a supposed elite fighter need?

    K9, Rodriguez, shot Mayorga, jennings...etc...

    Cotto has become pathetic.

Congratulations to Cotto for actually managing to find an active fighter around his weight even older than Martinez was.

It'll be Marquez later in the year.

The issue is not with K9, just like it was also never with Bradley. Neither guy can be blamed for taking the fight if they can get it.

But unless Cotto is dropping to 154, dropping the WBC 160 and trying to snag the IBF - then yeah its ****.

OTOH - maybe thats what Cotto is planning, in which case dropping pretenses of being best MW and trying to snag a title in his own division is certainly 100% legit.

Do i want Cotto fighting MW..yes! but am i gonna cry at bed a night like some of you guys are making it seems like youe gonna do.

EVERYBODY HAS FOUGHT PPL IN LOWER WEIGHTS IN THERE CAREERS!! EVERYBODY!!

if ppl didnt defend there title against lower weight guys, then how do we get 3-4-5-6 weight division champs?? So you really gonna be mad if Stevenson fights Ward expect for Kovalev?? IM NOT!! I just hope the inner fights Kovalev afterwards.

Why do you GGG haters always say GGG need to move up and fight Ward then?? so your gonna hate on Ward for fighting somebody in a lower weight class???

All you guys are hypocrites and it gets old man...really old...

"GGG needs to move up and fight Ward but hes scared" S**T makes no sense

I will admit K9 is a better matchup than Bradley, but it has already been almost 2 years since the WBC and Ring titles have been on the line in a defense against a legit 160lb contender. That just isnt right.

K9 has already indicated he would hang on to his 154lb title and he is over 40.... hardly giving a reassuring notion that he would be an up and coming 160 champ moving up in weight to try ruling the 160lb division.

Cotto's easily one of my favorite fighters of the last decade however this move if true will have no justification. I'm almost certain the obvious haters will gobble this up to no end.....enjoy the cotto bashing.

I'm not mad he's champ. I've always been a big Cotto fan. His lineal MW title reign is kind of a joke, though, especially if he isn't going to defend against real middleweights.

I'd be fine with Cotto vs. K9 if he were giving up the MW lineal & WBC title and dropping back down to challenge for K9's IBF belt.

This being a MW title defense is what makes it so damned :patsch.

Cotto wanting Canelo doesn't sugarcoat it either, that was a joke of a MW title defense too. Canelo isn't a middleweight (at least not yet...he will probably grow into 160lbs eventually, but the point is as of now Canelo has done nothing there)

He doesn't get brownie points for Canelo being his 1st choice. He made history and became middleweight champ. Good for him. The honorable thing now is to vacate that **** and drop back down to 154lb where he can realistically compete with the best of the division (which he can't at 160lb and we all know that)

The whole "Bradley/Rios/K9" triumvirate first came from Arum's mouth, too - so it wasn't like Pugmire was just pulling **** from thin air here...whether or not he jumped the gun saying Cotto vs. K9 was scheduled for June.

    All three are disgraceful options. K9 isn't a middleweight. Rios isn't a middleweight. Bradley isn't a middleweight. Canelo isn't a middleweight. Cotto isn't a middleweight.

Ugh. K9 is ok, especially for his age. But really Cotto... Lol. He brings up another 154... I hope he loses. Does K9 have a knee injury? Seems to be a main criteria of Cotto's opponents.
