Riyadh Season: Zhilei Zhang vs. Agit Kabayel Fight Highlights (Beterbiev vs. Bivol 2) Look at 2:10. Bizzare. Zhang effectively asked the ref for a break. Lol. It looks like Kabayel landed a left hook somewhere close to or directly on Zhang's liver. The finishing shot was also in the same area. This is what other orthodox fighters need to do vs southpaws. Its not a guaranteed win but you must target the liver region with left hooks.
He is one contender away from fighting Usyk IMO. I like Kabayel, especially his body shots, I am a big of it. However, I think Usyk's footwork and stamina is too good for Kabayel and Kabayel will struggle to consistently land those body shots as Usyk is literally the mover of all movers and he isn't stupid enough to stand and trade with him. Zhang has really poor footwork and stamina too which went in line with Kabayel's strengths - I think Kabayel would beat Parker though but I think Dubois would get Kabayel out of there early but it would be very interesting because Dubois would be in big trouble if he doesn't.
I am telling this for years that i see him as Kryptonite for Usyk. Ocf Usyk is skill wise and H2h on another level. Maybe this is the worst possible match up for Usyk among all HW contenders who competed over the last 20 years. Usyk had trouble with Chisora + vs Dubois it became clear that he deosn't like body shots at all. And Agit makes the pressure of Chisora + is the most effective body shot artist since...ever?!?
His commitment to the body is crazy. I've literally never seen a HW attack downstairs so relentlessly as Agit did vs Zhang.
Kabayel has looked tremendous and I rate him but he’s been in with slow footed plodders and broke them down with his accumulation of body shots. He might land the odd one or two on Usyk but the champ won’t stand in front of him like his last three opponents.
