Think this lad is a talent.

Great power for a super fly, Hearn wants him down at flyweight, kal seemed to admit in the interview afterwards he would really struggle to make fly weight......but Hearn knows he doesn't have much of a chance at super fly with the current world champs.

    What to do??

    canelo style catchweigh maybe,

his original opponent pulled out, and think yafai was off the bill until a late replacement which probably messed up his prep to make flyweight.

think he should stick to the division he's most comfortable in, - super fly and back himself to win a world title there. Even if he can't there's a big money fight with butler down the line,

Only if butler gets back on track. Butler v Conan first winner gets yafai.

Stay at super, if it isn't broken don't fix it. He is clearly a good talent and doesn't get outsized by any of his opponents so I think he will end up multiple division above what he is currently at, so a step down in weight is just illogical.

No way he can make fly for 2 much longer, he looks twice the size of most super flys.

Yeah Kel pulled out against Megrino, my suspicion is they thought the Filipino was an easy mark...then stumbled on footage and bailed.
