i think its a real close fight between meehan and leapai, meehan while he has the skills doesnt have grade a chin, (danny williams fight, rahman fight) he was on ***** street alot in the rahman fight, and in the williams fight he was gone early, maybe theres a big chance alex taggs him early and finishes him... i think meehans a better boxer by far then alex but i wouldnt discount a massive puncher that is alex
i think Alex is a great, down to earth guy and i will always support him when he fights... but in reality, and i mean no disrespect, but surely you can see he is not a "world stage" fighter?! how do you see him going against Adamek, Haye, Klitchsko?
watch the rahman fight again. meehan was hit with over 60 power shots in the last round and still didn't drop. it only took one to ko lennox. his chin is fine, don't worry about that. of course he was affected by the shots, but he was fighting back and was more exhausted than hurt. he was puffing badly very early in the fight. vs williams yes he went down but they were the best 2 punches danny ever threw imo.
I was amazed he didn't cancel the Rahman fight his back was ****ed, he couldn't even spar for the 4 weeks leading up to it.
