    latineg,

i don't see why u have to carry on like a goose but good luck to u. i see u are just a narc so your opinion i believe is irrellevent.

    and odo,

ok hero it took chagaev 2 rnds to beat connelly so your argument is very clever isn't it. so big deal!!
and u know damn well kali beat brewster but was robbed so maybe u could be a bit more fair than just trying to rubbish the guy for your own pleasure.

    like i said u r obviously just a narc.

u r right though about rahman and brewster. fancy losing to these two bums. disgraceful. they never beat anybody with a pulse. they only ko'd lennox lewis and wlad klitschko for crying out loud. anybody could have beaten those two.

    later hater.

Difficult. It seems that Chagaev runs out of gas. First his heavy injury, and after that Wlad beat the **** out of him. Honestly...I think, Ruslan would have lost against this Drumond-Guy in the later rounds. Meehan should prepare seriously, because he'll get his chance to hurt Chagaev and take the fight. This would be not that big upset as it is supposed to be. But Chagaev by points in a boring fight is nevertheless more probable.

All the same, Haye will punish both of them.

Meehan is not in Chagaev's class. Chagaev by knockout.

    Drumond is?

Sorry, but Chagaev did not very well against Ruiz, Skelton (before his injury) and Drumond (got a good hiding by Rossy). The only outstanding performance was against Valuev, who actually lost to (maybe) Dominguez, Donald, Ruiz I and Old Holyfield.

Brock, Thompson, even Rahman did better against Wladimir than Chagaev. Well, you're right. Technically Chagaev should be two classes above Meehan. But his latest performances do not guarantee that.

Chagaev is a far cry of himself and has not looked good since he won the belt. That bum Drummond gave him trouble. After the Klitschko beating hard to believe he can beat a hard hitting big aggressive guy like Meehan

To add a point: Chagaev hired a new coach, the highly unexperienced Schaburow (who works successfully with prospects, but a former hw-champ is way more than he is used to work with).

This could also affect Chagaev's effectiveness against Meehan. It would be better for him to fight a rather solid journeyman instead of picking a big powerful guy who stood around somewhere in the Top 30, even if this guy did not fight for more than a year.

Hm! Honour where honour is due! Yep! He made the water extremely hot for Brewster a couple of years ago.
Maybe I was too harsh on him,but I still think that in terms of potential and skills Chagaev plays in a different league. As some knowledgeable posters here have rightfully pointed out Chagaev has shown some very mediocre performances recently.Whats more he seems to get problems with his body.
A healthy Chagaev in his prime would have had no trouble with a healthy Meehan in his prime IMO.
You are right! I wasnt 100% fair!
At this point of time Meehan has a decent chance to beat Chagaev.Nevertheless,I still think that Meehan is the huge underdog.
As for Conelly whoever needs 3 rounds to take this harmless journeyman out is not an outstanding puncher.
Conelly is easy to hit and his chin is china made.
Boytsov had knocked him dow several times before he stopped him in the very first round.Meehan for sure has some pop in his fists, but I guess it is fair to say that in terms of firepower Chagaev has the upper hand.

    odo,

do u think chagaev( after his beating by wlad) could last against the meehan that fought brewster. i agree that chagaev would start favourite but i just think he at this point is possibly vulnerable.

meehan has been jerked around for 3 years and his determination will be at an all time high. he is literally fighting to feed his family.

ok ok ok i admit it im a NARC

fine are you happy now ?

i also kinda like kali and thought he looked dam good in that brewster fight and waz quite impressed with hiz decent hand speed for such a big fella

that said i think if chagaev came into that fight in top notch shape ruslan could give kali just as much if not more difficulty then brewster did
