Karmazin coming on stronger, seems to have a good sense of Miranda's offensive style now and looking comfortable. Jab landing high and low and setting up right hands for Karmazin. Miranda times him coming in with a right of his own that has Roman hanging on a bit toward the bell.

Lucky for Karmazin he's fighting a caveman.

 

Round 3
Miranda throws a 1-2 to the body. Karmazin's hands lower for a moment and he eats the same combination facefirst. Karmazin shaky. Miranda begins to pepper him with the same repetition over and over. Karmazin doesn't give ground, throwing his own punches in between blocking. As Miranda gets more excited he gets sloppy and the straight line of his right hands turns into more of an arc. Karmazin able to survive the round as a result.

Karmazin is a crusty old man. He's crusted. LMAO @ these intangibles. Garbage vs. Geezer. And it's close.

 

Miranda only has a right hand...

 

Round 4
Karmazin doing the smart thing, pressing into Miranda, knowing that he shouldn't be at the fully extended range of the right hand. Roman doing a good job getting in close and changing angles. He begins to punch under Miranda's elbow to great effect. Miranda now backing up. Lazy jab from Miranda. Karmazin stays right at the end of it, but still wary of the right hand range. Miranda clearly not as comfortable with an inside fight. Karmazin bangs the body during the final ten seconds to impress the judges.

Big turnaround for Karmazin, 10-9. This is the third momentum shift through 4 rounds. Great fight.

Those body shots by Karmazin are not affective.

 

And he's fighting in the main event on national television.

THAT is why boxing isn't more popular. The quality of our athletes is unilaterally comparable to the viewership we get.

Round 5
Miranda tries to go to work with his 1-2 right out of the gate, but Karmazin very cautious - catching the punches and then cleaving to Miranda to neutralize his power. Karmazin showing greater punch variety...body shots, uppercuts in close, triple jabs mixed high and low. A long period of inactivity in the middle of the round. Karmazin attempts three fast hooks but unable to execute proper form as he's literally flashing them out there, obviously nervous about leaving himself open for a right.

Closest round yet, Karmazin landed a bit better.

Round 6
Turning into a very rough battle. Karmazin touching Miranda's ribs with light gnat-like jabs. Miranda's right hand pumping out but his arm catching the side of Karmazin's head. They tie up with a thud. More collision. Miranda starts bending his waist and throwing hooks from an odd upward diagonal angle. It lands but not too cleanly. Karmazin doing very little but jab most of the round...attempts to steal it with a succession of hard body shots in the waning moments.

The rounds are getting closer...I was just about to score this one for Miranda, but that final spurt from Roman was better than anything Dionisio did in the first two and a half minutes...:think
