fair dinkum. this bloke is a meathead, even in league!!! he runs like a kamakazi, has little talent, and relies totally on toughness. while i recon there are some league players that could do ok in afl, this meathead is not one of them!!!!

When I heard this I was just amazed, Well HE is a clown now, I don't watch the game, so have fun.

 

This might be a surprise to low brow knuckle dragging NRL supporters but to sophisticated AFL followers we expect this.
After all AFL is the most popular of the 2 codes by a margin of almost double when it comes to attendence and tv viewers.
Why would you not try your hand in the most celebrated ball sport in the country.

Good luck to Hunt and all of the other League players who decide to swap to the ultimate football code in the counrty!

not is QLD mate or NSW they **** tv viewers numbers, compaired to league, league beats ALF on saturday night in QLD and NSW and it is on Pay TV and AFL is on free to air.

 

I'm not surprised NRL beats repeats of ALF on Saturdays.

 

What sort of money will he earn when he is completely unproven at the sport. It's not like league to union where there are obvious similarities. Maybe he played the sport as a kid but that is a long long way short of the AFL.

 

this thread should be about appreciating what it takes to make it in either code.....not about nrl or vfl bashing...

im sure vfl has some fancy pants players that would get murdered in league, and also have some so called tough ****s that think they can make in league and get smashed...barry hall being one of them.

I just heard he is getting 1 million a year for 3 years. for game he has never played before and he is not even the best player in the comp, it just ****en amazes me.

 

He will bring in another 5000 people through the gates easy possibly per game. Cross code switches bring a lot of publicity. Don't write him off. We wrote someone elses cross code switch off.

 

We all know most of Queensland and NWS viewers are are cave dwelling neanderthols and find gruntning men with large thy's appealing but the rest of the country find AFL much more pleasent to the eye via TV and are able to get to the game more often than the tracksiut wearing fat slobs hovelling around thier TV sets in NSW and Queensland.
