He was very hittable in the amateurs. Got in lots of wars. He is very crisp and quick though, and his feet and lead are great at controling the range.

Fights like this one are pointless to him now. He's more than experienced enough to start stepping up opposition gradually.

Yeah, he's a bruiser by nature. His Olympics run was among the most entertaining, he just loves trading on the inside. In fairness he's a very savvy (if not a bit dirty) while he's operating there.

Throw him in with McWilliams Arroyo, let's see what he's got. He's 29 and a flyweight there's no time to waste

Shields' weird flattened hair over the fivehead isn't an effective strategy to cover it up. It looks awful.

Seriously are you just trying to be the most insufferable ****er in this thread? **** off with yourself, get over the fact that you had nothing worthwhile to say except "Katie won't fight in an arbitrary ruleset that she never agreed to and wouldn't be allowed to so she's ducking and scurrrred." I frankly don't care anymore. Go bother someone else.

I appreciate the fact that you're admitting that Taylor ducked the 3 minute rounds!

I wish I had some brownies FFS, can't even smoke out of the 17 grams I have there because I have a chest infection. Absolute torture.

I think he can be a really crisp offensive force, sort of like a less responsible version of how Shakur fought against Herring. The timing of very basic shots like the jab to the body, just moments after ending an exchange is brilliant. I like how he makes space when grappling too. His feints are on point, feet are very nice and his lead hand is typically cultured for such a high level amateur. There's a lot to like, but he does get hit a lot.

I actually think a really tough night like with say, a Tanaka, later on in his career could be the making of him.
