would it make sense for mitchell to aim for him right now ?....good chance to reverse the loss maybe and that fight would sell again...the fact that mitchell lost last time would help sell it

One of my favourite fighters and it seems unfair he never got a full title. He should pack it in now, with his style he'll start taking serious damage off average fighters if he continues.

Great lad but he should retire as he's eaten more than enough. No disgrace getting countered to death by JMM or outpointed by big Burns who kept him at arms length but at the weekend he lost to a guy who stood in front of him.

:-( Hopefully at a lower level on domestic cards.

Really big fan of Katsidis, and share the sentiments of others in this thread. He should chill out in Thailand with his Japanese missus and enjoy himself. Hopefully he has some investments and after a few more scraps can live a nice enough life.

Really hope he doesn't get put in with any more top prospects or fighters to pad their record. He always tries hard and will get hurt, especially as he's tough as old boots.

I hope he retires. His style is like Hatton's which ages fighters a lot faster than others.

Never in a dull fight! The Mitchell fight was his swansong!

    diaz
    chavez
    escobedo
    mitchell
    marquez
    guerrero
    burns
    and now mensah.

all wars, cut in almost all of them and dropped and won or gave a great account of himself.

i dont mind him taking a 6 month chill. wonder if 140 is too big a move or not. a fight with morales possibly as a retirement fight? a gimme fight agaisnt a champion at 135/140 is a possabilty.

but if he wants to continue he has to change something because his style is now universaly known. there is nothing mysterious about him. he didnt get exposed he has just slowed down. i hope he could relearn some technical skills and just box a bit off back foot. he has the heart for the game. use it i say.

the reason i have problems with wanting fighters to retire is for the to return 5 or 4 years later when they are completely spent.

if i was his loved one i would be perfectly happy for him to retire. what an amazing fighter he is against 4 great world champions in the toughest fights of their careers. never a back step just warring to the bout has ended. brilliant thank you michael.

his lack of world title is the only thing keeping him in it im guessing and thats what worries me more than anything.

Well this clip is the opposite of what most seem to think, they want him to continue back at lightweight, he's still learning!! I guess he is still fairly young but probably verging on the wrong end for a lighweight?

I not sure he can change enough to progress and win a title!

Up to the Guerrero loss, Katsitas was an absolute beast, world class, great fighter. Every fight after Guerrero, Katsitas is a C- Journeyman, not even domestic level.

Top Quality fighter Kats, Had a tough time in and out of the ring, Think he should retire but on the other hand would love to see Eddie bring him over and bang him in with Rees for a belt, be cracking chief support to Kell Brook's next fight :good
