    This :deal

This has already been discussed in another thread. This is a London fight if ever there was one.

Right East Ender in Mitchell matched up against Kats who has big respect in the UK because of the Graham Earl fight see's this as a no-brainer for Wembley or O2 Arena, London.

This is a promotion Frank Warren eats up.

Yeah tend to agree with Contendo....no way Katsidis could put together a big enough night down under to be confident to bid high for the purse

The fight will be so big in the UK....but for Kats...its means hes going to need a very good performance to get the win

One - I am happy to laugh along with you at first, but mate, your being a bit stale which the questions aren't you? Frank's financial position isn't my business and to be frank (pardon the pun!), good ****ing luck to him for a 58yr old! (Born in 1952!)

Boxing supporters and keyboard warriors on here and other sites call for this, that and every other fight to be made, but actually don't understand one-tenth of what goes on, or the factors behind the scenes to make fights, let alone shows financially viable.

It's very simple - Promoters promote the biggest possible fight they can, for the best possible return, it's not hard logic to understand.

As much as I would like / hope this fight get's made for Australia, I will not be holding my breath. I think my ticket will be a seat at my local which is a big supporter of boxing and show all the fights.

Quite simply, in my opinion (and I think most logical fight industry people) would view this as a must in London, with PPV around the world.

    :good

Mick could still bring it down with the help of Golden Boy and some local sponsors.

The money is there Im sure.

Really looking forward to this one..its going to be a tough fight either way.

unfortunately I can'tsee this getting made in australia.

1 - sadly, to joe public, Kats isn't a big enough name in australia.

2 - Mitchell isn't any type of drawcard in australia compared to kats in england.

3 - There not a lot of backers here that can win this purse. For any chance this will have to be held in melbourne and have the backing of the greek community.

this is a tough fight in england, would prefer to have em fight in the states.

This gives me an idea for a new thread........."20 questions with Contendo" :yep

In this thread supporters, huggers and haters get to ask Contendo about boxing and all the behind the scenes wheeling and dealing.

Punters can ask Contendo how he got into boxing, why its so hard to get fights made and why he has so many Mundine posters on his wall at home :yep

Agreed, it'd be great to see it here but I don't think it'll eventuate.
