This fight was only hyped in the usual hardcore boxing circle, other than that no one paid too much attention and rightfully so, Diaz is just not an exciting fighter, he throws a lot of punches, but he just doesn't have that explosivness to produce an exciting KO.
Not the kind of FOTY we expected. But I enjoyed watching Diaz in this fight to be honest. I was really impressed by him and I think overall this is still a good fight. And yeah the judges were :huh

He most certainly was. That was a very moderate showing by Juan Diaz who is capable of much more than he showed tonight. Katsidis was taking Diaz to school at different points, and that shouldn't have been happening. Watch the tape.
