Entertaining in the ring? :huh Excuse me? Because he showboats, and sticks his tongue out when better fighters hit him?
I can honestly say that, yes. I've made the same criticisms about him that Tarver did, which led to Kayode calling him out. Everything Tarver said about him was true. Freddie Roach is wasting his time on that garbage.
The first one or two times he popped on my radar, admittedly, it made my attention perk up. Like, "O RLY...big power punching undefeated prospect with an interest taken by Wild Card? :think" but after seeing him a few times and how sloppy/slappy he still is even after having benefited from world class training... :verysad He has power and had some glimmers of potential, but he's got a horrible fighting mentality/heart, ghastly punch technique, anemic work rate, terrible finishing instincts...and as of last night we've learned shaky whiskers to boot.
Kayode was immature, The fight was close, The early rounds he won 4 out of 6 because Tarver wasn't working, But when Tarver stepped up he schooled you because you were too wreckless and sloppy, Blamed showtime and spazzed out because of him getting a draw that some say he's lucky to get, I had a draw, I could have saw Tarver win though over Kayode win.
Agree, He is so wild and unskilled, What is Freddy teaching him? This doesn't look like a roach fighter.
Kayode has had a rough life and comes from a bad place, he doesn't know any better. He's best suited for the internet cafes of Lagos. I think Tarver won that fight 116-112 or even 117-111, he had Kayode hurt several times and was too patient with his follow up. Kayode didn't land ****, a few flurries to cause that mark under Tarver's eye
117-111? :rofl That means you gave Tarver a lot of the earlier rounds.. The ones he didn't throw a punch, didn't land a punch, and was constantly getting backed up, and banged. You could give some of these judges a run for there $
