I want Ioka to win but he’s going in this with a huge disadvantage. Franco is a pos and should be punished.

I mean, Ioka has a chin. He can handle a guy his own size (in terms of frame) carrying an extra 3 kilograms.

It's not like Franco is a natural super bantam or used to fighting effectively at that weight. I'm not sure how stark the disadvantage is, really.

But what I do know is that in rematches, Ioka has gone super-Saiyan (went from MD vs. Reveco to dominating and knocking him out with a body shot; and went from a SD loss to Donnie Nietes to a wide UD victory) whereas Franco sort of remains flat and brings no different energy or sense of urgency from bout to bout (split decisions thrice in a row versus Negrete, close UD in Moloney I & III).

Let's hope Ioka comes in with more motivation and fight with mean intent.

People were fooled by the insane output of Franco despite the fact he was missing tons.

He looks in very good shape to me, I don't get people thinking a boxer has to be an emaciated level of ripped to be in good shape.

Hope Ioka sparks the cheater. Expect the cynical outcome however.

I haven't seen it, but a) I've seen plenty of Franco fights and they're pretty much all the same, can't imagine this was THAT drastically different and b) err, every single person in the RBR on here had it for Moloney. From the sound of it you maybe got snookered by Bradley and the other commentators?

Moloney admitted that Franco was the better man in the third fight. Maybe you’re getting fights in the trilogy mixed up.

Congrats on the win Ioka. :ibutt
What’s next for him? Chocolatito, Gallo, Martinez, Nakatani?
