Gotta disagree. Gatti went soul searching with Ward, changed his style AND his gameplan, cameout the winner, in reality both did. Pacman is still the same to me since the rematch only hes carried his power, speed, and stamina from featherweight. Floyd has done the same. Not many do, but it seems perhaps Marquez has done it too, alittle late, but he hadnt looked that great since featherweight and his footwork which was slower at lightweight was what really surprised me. His reflexes were spot on. Mannys achilles is he gets frustrated and walks straight in to give one and take one. Had he played the counterpuncher and use angles and then walk down Marquez he might of gotten a koclear win even a stoppage, but expected a Floyd like performance from Manny and use his speed to overwhelm Jmm. Mannys most devastating kos are when hes countering. Gotta beat Jmm at his own game.Manny didnt look the winner at the end and looked lost in the fight. Roach kept sayin We losing control. Manny only looks like he's improved because of the wau he's handled bigger fighters

Barrera and Cottoe fit into the style mold that suits emmanuel. Flat footed, come forward, don't know how to clinch, and left hook dominant. These type of fighters are made to order for him. Oscar got beat up for the same reason.

emmanuel showed improvements against those type of fighters.

Pacfans are so spoiled. We are so used to Pac giving out spectacular performances whenever he fights by complete domination over his opponents. I have to admit I had a quick change of mind after that round one which was also expected since Marquez had already fought Pacquiao twice in the past and those two fights were close. Personally, I loved the fight last weekend. It's been awhile since Pac was put in losing situation. Most exciting fight since the Cotto fight to be honest.

It's kinda funny though. Most of the ones protesting or instigating an argument are *****s. LOL Kinda sucks when Floyd don't want anything to do with pac and all them ***gots can do is hang on JMM's dick just to get a rise out of it.

Did you score a round 10-10 which one.

Now the hysteria is over. If you rewatch the fight it can be seen that it's by no means as wide of a difference as some are making it. Theres about a point in it and many rounds are close calls. It's like the 1st too fights has many debatable rounds.

If it ever happens pac will give floyd a good fight. Styles make fights and it can be a very good match up if pac isn't falsed to play floyds game and can adjust when needed.

I love Pac and I love PBF, over the last couple of years I went back in fourth on who I thought who would win between the two. I thought JMM was starting to decline a bit and thought (and hoped) that Pac would have steamrolled him. over the last few months I was starting to lean towards PBF. I always said I never wanted to see this fight and now I am pretty sure Pac would lose if they did.

I always thought they 1 a and 1b but now i see a clear number 1. I think I like that less than the thought that pac might have really lost on the weekend. I think Pac beats anyone easily named PBF and JMM.

Dude you don't get it..PAC has trouble against master boxers. How many times with Marquez have to beat him to prove it. Look at all of the guys he fought..Cotto, Hatton, Marg..they all tried to out-muscle him and brawl. PAC won easily, but him in against a Master boxer like lets same...geeh hmmmm geeeh Marquez, Mayweather he looks foolish.

Real fans dont turn their back once thier boy starts lossing. I would however have turned my back on pac if he had done even half the antics floyd has done outside the ring.

Pac lost the fight, he lost to a great and brave mexican and he already lost before. No biggy, move on and wait for the next fight. Win or lose, as long as he puts on a great show and engages is enough for me to watch again.

Don't be silly Leo... His improvements are evident, to dismiss them becuase he has problems with Juan is like saying Ali wasn't ever really the Best HW of all time... he was just a product of carefully guided match making...and that Sugar Ray Leonard was as well.

PAC is sit an 8 division world champ who dominated GREAT opposition. In all honesty the PAC haters are OVERLY ecstatic based on PAC not dominating like he normally does.

Close fight sometimes sees things like this happen. it happened with Ali vs Norton, Leonard vs Hearns 2 and a slew of other close, competitive fights where one guy won and the other lost... which wasn't always the most popular decision.

Everyone needs to fall back and accept that this fight was a great match up between two guys that compliment each others career. Maybe a 4th fight will see come closure.

PAC has trouble with JMM's style. Who is a great fighter. JMM only really won this fight in my opinion...and even that was close. The other two were also close but PAC won and should have won instead of Juan getting by with a draw.

Hatton and Marg were the only guys who tried to out muscle PAC. Cotto had a gameplan, so did EM and MAB. It's kind of silly that some overly passionate fans who pray on PAC's downfall are finding comfort in PAC getting the nod in a close fight.

THis is boxing and it happens. A lot of close fights end up with an unpopular decision... but it's silly to cry "ROBBERY".

I agree. It's not exciting if it's always one sided. This fight had me on the edge of my seat, unlike the Clottey fight (omg boring), Cotto fight, Mosley fight, etc. Same goes for Floyd. His most exciting match was against JLC because it was close and competitive. It's just not as fun if it's always a blowout. And that's why I'm SO excited for Cotto-Marg II, because honestly, I'm not sure who'll win. I'm sticking with Cotto, but god damn, I'm just not sure. Close fights need to happen more often b/c they're thrilling and exciting.
