pointing out what the facts are, and commenting on what that means, is not gossip. adding narrative to the facts, in order to make someone look bad, is gossip.
i dont know what all the facts are regarding this particular issue, but i know who has been fighting the top welters and who hasn't. spence says the only fight for him at 147, is crawford. he says thats the money fight and the legacy fight. he has always been genuine about his feelings. i believe him.
i used to give bud the benefit of the doubt, for not getting big fights, because of arum. arum isn't in the picture anymore. and everything ive heard from bud, tells me he thinks hes done enough. that he doesn't need a spence fight. maybe thats true, for him.
personally, i think Floyd got in his ear and threw a ****** wrench in negotiations. but i got no proof.

Thurman fight is Spence's last at Welterweight.
Afterwardsm Spence moves up to Middleweight and fights Lara and Charlo for their belts.

Spence has made it clear that he will not be facing Thurman under any circumstances because he ducked him in the past on his way up. He won’t be granting that guy a pay day so Stannionis, Boots Ennis and Vergil Ortiz better wait for the call as anyone of the, could be next.

Keith Thurman, Ennis and Ortiz are all rated in the top three by the WBC, WBA and WBO. The order just varies. Ortiz is #1 by the WBO and WBA. Ennis #1 in the IBF. Thurman #1 in the WBC.

And Thurman was behind Karol in the IBF ratings before he lost last Saturday to Ennis, so Keith will probably move up in the IBF ratings, too, only behind Ennis and Ortiz.

Imagine if Spence vacates?

Does Ennis or Ortiz jump at the chance to fight for the vacant title against Thurman?

Or do Ennis and Ortiz look to pick up a vacant belt against someone easier?

 

He just showing these youngsters the blueprint, you don't have to work harder, just smarter. Here they are trying to fight regularly & win for a top spot, when all you had to do was fight twice in 3.5 years and you good.

 

Number 1 ranked at WW but will be fighting the champ at 54 with no belts on the line makes no sense at all.
