What do you think of 118-110 for Thurman?

 

If you give Danny only the 6th and the 12th, I could see that. The other rounds Danny may have won were close, and if you prefer Thurman's quality punches I could see that score. Thurman was busier in almost every round.

 

Any chance García drops back down to 140?

He'll have to deal with the guys at 47, but judging from tonight - that may not go well for him,

A lot of the guys at 147 can box really well, like Brook/Spence/Mayweather(Retired), Pacquiao, Bradley.

 

@moparfan and myself had the same scores up to the 8th Thurman 1,3,5,7 Garcia 2,4,6, we disagreed on the 8th (I had Danny winning it he gave it to Thurman). 9th was Thurman's that's 5-4 Thurman rounds 10-12 all to Garica imo which makes it 7-5 Garcia I can see 7-5 Thurman as well. It's the 10-2 & 9-3 cards that are way off to me.

Would you agree that the rounds Keith won were clear, whereas the rounds Danny won could have gone either way? I'll surely watch the fight again with your card in mind, specifically you're giving Danny the 4th and the 8th.

 

Tell me do you think anybody could have survived the first round, only Garcia with the steel jaw, Thurman was dropping bombs on him no counting the uppers.

 

I think a lot of boxers could of taken those punches, but Danny has a greaaat chin, that can no longer be disputed. I mean people actually pick Thurman to KO danny.. LOL

 

I was wrong on the 8th, should have scored for Thurman or even. Which makes my card a draw, I would agree that a couple rounds Thurman won were clear like the 3rd, 5th & 9th the rest were close. Danny clearly won rounds 6 and 10 to me,that gives Thurman 3 clear rounds & Danny 2 clear rounds from what I saw. The first was almost even but I went with Thurman. So my card should have been a draw.

 

Just watched the fight now. It went exactly as I expected. Shocked to see one scorecard in favour of Danny Garcia, though. This is an indisputable close but clear Thurman victory.

 

It's beyond me completely how that was a SD. 116-112 Thurman easily.
