This fight will be competitive and both men will have their moments. I haven't studied Spence so it's a tough call. I think Brook will find success earlier, but will be wobbled once or twice early as well. I don't know what to predict down the stretch. My thought is Brook wins a decision but I have serious doubts. I'm banking on Brook's experience and more polished skill set. Spence is young and growing, win or lose he gains a ton of much needed experience in this fight. Idk... gun to my head, put a number on it... I'm leaning 55-45 in favor of Brook. But Spence has more momentum going into this fight. Anything can happen.
we don't know how brooks eye will be Golovkin broke the socket badly we also don't know if he will be drained
It's not a cowards mentality. What was the point? To prove he's not a coward? He knew the odds and took a chance, credit to him. But for his career, it was pointless. I get it, he gambled, he's brave, he felt it was worth it. But still a dumb decision. These men aren't cowards, they just know their natural limitations. If you called me a coward for not jumping into a lion's den, you're an idiot lol
Spence is in much better physically shape then brook brook is dealing with that eye socket and getting drained
It will be interesting to see Captain Hook in the ring with someone other than a walking heavy bag. To be fair to spence he has nice movement good all round skills. He will be in for a shock though...Brook fights back!
I'm betting Brook in this fight. Spence is still largely untested, you can't say that about Brook. I'll go with the proven fighter who is somehow an underdog here.
Kell took huge body shots from Golovkin in the 5th and never even dropped. Ingle threw in the towel, Kell wanted to keep going, broken orbital or not. Guy is the definition of teak tough
It amazes me that some people think that Spence is going to destroy Brook. Brook went 5 rounds after taking a beating in the very first round against one of the hardest hitters in the sport who outweighs spence atleast 13 lbs! Brook has been in the ring with GGG and Porter and that alone is better than Spences whole resume. We still havent seen Spence go against a puncher so how can you possibly know if he`ll hold up or not if he gets caught? I mean he got cought before by an average puncher and took an entire round to recover even after having time in his corner and the shot wasnt that big a shot. I like spence but im not sold until i see him in there against Brook and we see what he does. Then we can have a better picture of Spence and what he is or isnt as a fighter.
Already have the butterflies in my stomach when I even think about this fight. It's the matchup of the year IMO. A guy that looks great to the eye vs a guy who also looks very good to the eye with a higher level of competition. Lovin' it!
Brook's resume is so pathetic, his fans are boasting about his five round beatdown by GGG like it's his greatest achievement.
