carson jones is one of the most avoided fighters. almost went straight to pro. comes in with a mixture of roy jones bounce around outboxing and countering with miguel cotto shell, cagey hands up inside left hook to the body. he has a good defense has power and amazing speed. i think kell is abit more organised but jones has a great all round game and has been sparring with a load of world champions...and only in his mid 20's.

got to remember it was either going to be him or roberto garcia to fight margarito. a fight which margo wasnt prepared for and jones i think could of pissed through.


he has improved so much since i first saw him back in 06.




my picture was just the let down that we already knew this. everyone knew this even jones on his facebook said tongue in cheek "i would love to fight him, he is a very good fighter" for an cocky world level contender to say to a fighter that doesn't have a contract sign that is very strange to just let it slide.

 

Heard rumours Jones might get the call to face Khan instead.

 

Jones has boxed up at SMW...I can't see him getting safely down to 140

 

I assumed it would be 147 if the plan is for Khan to move up anyway, he fought last month and is in training so it's better than nothing.
