Three weeks out. VERY good welterweight title fight. Pick it.

Have to go with the gut feeling and the fact that I think Brook is more poised and balanced than Chaves. That said, Chaves can definitely pull the upset. Great match up!

Brook by decision, but Chaves makes it an ugly fight and Brook gets uncomfortable at times. Still, Brook's composure and accuracy should see him through this.

The usual suspects who are complaining about this fight being easy for Brook, must agree that Brook is levels above Thurman, Bradley & Rios, all of which Chaves gave hell to.

It was extremely close with Thurman before the knock down which Chaves never recovered from (I think of the Showtime commentators one had it for Chaves, one for Thurman, and one even)

He was beating Rios before the dodgy DQ, and while Bradley should've got the win, it was still a close fight.

As for my prediction Brook by stoppage in 6.

Brook stylistically should win this, Chaves isn't the type to just pressure, and walk you down which is how Carson had Brook in trouble in their first fight. I do wanna see how he takes a few Chaves flush shots however.

Brook delivers a steady and clinical take down of Chaves, to win by late TKO.

Mid round KO for Brook, Chaves may tag Brook and shake him up, but not enough to do any real damage.

Glad people are starting to recognise this as a legit contest. I can't believe the way some of the posters on these boards have been disrespecting Chaves in the run up to this fight like he's some sort of Jo Jo Dan type character. I'll take Brook to win but it won't be easy.

So are we looking at Brook stopping Chaves sooner than Thurman did?
Sounds like a fair comparison :think

People act like Thurman has way more power than Brook but I can't see what they are basin that on. Brook has stopped 21 of his last 25 opponents, only Porter, Jones (who he stopped in the rematch), and iron chinned duo Matthew Hatton and Lovemore N'dou (both of whom Brook clearly had in more trouble than Canelo did dragging them up a division).

That and Brook is clearly a more complete boxer than Uma Thurman

Brook is way too big for Chaves. I think it's only Thurman who has a chance with him, and perhaps Spence Jr when he gains some experience at the top level. All other guys will fail miserably against him. If he moves up at some point and fights the top guys at 154, those fights will be competitive. I predict Brook by way of KO inside 6.

Kell wins by KO but I'm afraid for this man's mandible, it's quite suspect
