If he gets past Jennings I would like to see him fight Jose Luis Castillo. He is past his best and fighting out of his natural weight class. I just feel it would be a good test and a good indicator of how far he can go.

Castillo has been sparring with Pacquiao and from what i have herd he hasnt been taking a beaten off him either, I think that would be a huge step up in class for Brook i dont think he is ready for that type of fighter yet, He hasnt exactly fought dangerous opposition as of yet, i would like to see him take a few more on at european level, then maybe stepping it up to someone like Castillo.

Yeah fair comment it would be a big step. But it's definitely a winnable fight for him and would be a great scalp on the C.V. I just feel that at some point he is gonna have to step it up sink or swim. I think he would learn more in one fight with Castillo than 10 fights at British level. I agree that I would like to see him fight for the Euro title as it seems a natural progression.

    What about Alfonso Gomez?

I think he could fight Alfonso Gomez in his next fight and win, That would be one of them fights were he woldnt have it all his own way like he has been against his previous opponents, I think he is going to beat Jennings and pretty convincingly, then somebody like Gomezn then a Castillo... You cant just fling him into the deep end when he hasnt fought anybody who is really that dangerous.

If Brook gets past Jennings then throw him in with Castillo. Would be a good 'name' to have on his record, similar to Barrera on Khan's, because lets face it, Castillo is pretty much done.

Even me, the staunch ''Cotto ain't all that'' subscriber cannot agree with you here.

Brook has beaten who, exactly - even if he beats Jennings, he will be the only name worth a wank on his record.

    Me neither.

I was laughed off the forum for picking Margarito by stoppage when the fight was signed..... :-(

Still don't know why anyone ever thought he could beat Mayweather. He isn't a great boxer, doesn't have top class footwork and his best right hand punch is the southpaw jab.
