Are we talking about the same fighter that convincingly outboxed Shane Mosley. Nah your right he isn't up to much.

Well bare in mind Vernon Forrest is around 6ft 1! And hes probably one of the best fighters to utilize his reach. And Winky was at 154. Cotto is about an inch smaller, mosley has longer reach, is considered faster than cotto, yet cotto still outboxed mosley! No one said hes never been outboxed, however, its quite clear from watching mosley highlights and fights that its a very very hard task outboxing mosley and only 2 of the very best 'boxers' done it other than Cotto. Not bad considering the sort of fighters mosley has outboxed really is it, pal.

De La Hoya outboxed Mosley pretty clearly in the second fight also, and spells in the first.

I'm not hating on Mosley, I think he is great for boxing for many reasons, but it is a bit of a myth that he is a masterful boxer. Brawler yes, slugger perhaps, yes.

Ricky Hatton outboxed a supposed slickster in Malignaggi, doesn't make him Sugar Ricky Hatton, does it?

(I know the comparison isn't the best, BTW ;))

No No decent comparison actually lol give u that one, my point was that it takes a Great Great fighter to outbox Mosley i mean he outboxed Luis Collazo who beat Berto by 2 rounds on my card and outboxed 'Sugar' Ricky Hatton, which would indicate hes very very good boxer and it just seemed cotto was being denied of a quality accomplishment. But i see your point also
