Alexander? Bailey was the one who wouldn't throw a punch.

He's been in with world level opposition but should have 3 losses on his record. You are way overrating Alexander, i dont see this slickness your talking about at all, fast does not equal slick. Judging on Alexanders performance on Saturday Kell would be too much for him

Thats a ridiculous claim, one of the hardest punchers at 147 maybe.

I think Alexander is skillful and though boring, he's effective. He's also shown a solid chin so far, I don't think Brook would stop him, but Alexander would be wary of his power. Bailey can crack, but if you can see the punches coming they don't have the same effect, Brook's delivery is far better, and his power is very good. Remember, Canelo never hurt Hatton the way Brook did.

I could see Kell outboxing Alexander with sound fundamentals, feints and a ramrod jab, but's all opinions and we won't know until they fight. I also think he'd take Khan out with a well timed right hand

No offense but how can you claim Brook is the real deal when he has not proved it against a single world level opponent. At this point in time Alexander is the proven fighter which in turn makes him the better fighter. And until Brook does prove himself against a elite opponent he is nothing more then hype, no matter what we personally think of him.

No it isn't, as far as one punch knockout power goes name one fighter below heavyweight that packs more of it.

And I think you are vastly underrating Alexander because you don't have much respect for him, which is understandable. His style can be abysmal to watch at times, that doesn't take away from his skill level though, which is still a proven level above what Brook has contended with.

Agreed on your assessment of Alexander and the point about telegraphed punches. Overall, I would say this fight would be a toss up and hope to see it soon. Alexander is beatable, but Kell hasn't faced anybody on is level, either.

Completely agree with you. Let's hope this fight happens, boxing fans deserve much better fights than we're seeing right now

Plus, I like a decent bit of nationalism from time to time; so long as fans keep it in perspective. I thought having the flags behind the fighters during the Super Six was great and added a little appeal. I'm sure it helped ratings a bit on both continents. This would fall right into that category.

Good fight. UK vs. USA. It gets viewers.

In his prime he had amazing power but he was landing flush on Alexander and he wasnt flinching, Matthysse was hurting him and had him down. The guy Bailey fought before Mike Jones had been knocked out 4 times in his 16 fight career and Randall couldnt finish the job despite landing enough to get the UD. At 147 id say Garcia definitely hits harder

Dunno man, he lost to 3 of his 4 best opponents and a past prime Judah handled Matthysse a fair bit better than he did

    **** Bailey.

**** Devon too, but at least he'll be in anotha meaningful fight at some point.

I do think Brook would beat Devon tho. I ain't impressed by Devon at all. He can't handle pressure. Even with Bailey, who was just walkin to him without throwin, he couldn't really do ****.

Brook ain't nothin too special either, still a work in progress. But I think he got enuf game to beat the 'star' Devon.
