Kell Brook's rumoured opponent Michael Zerafa - thoughts?

I like watching Brook but I just don't get why he's still fighting nobodies, either retire or fight a proper fight.

Three big fights in nine years is pretty rubbish.

 

If he wants to gain exposure to the khan fight then this is the wrong way of doing it
At least khan's last 2 opponents was after a long lay off

 

Zerafa was lined up to face one of Hearns prospects and now is facing one of his PPV “stars”. It’s **** poor and it’s a bit **** for Fowler that he won’t be fighting for the commonwealth title now.

 

I have minimal interest in the Khan/Brook fight, but cannot wait for it to happen so we don't have deal with all this nonsense going forward.

 

I don't get why it has to be top of a bill. If Brook wants a soft touch of a fight then it should be stuck on an undercard.

 

I said this in another thread. It could’ve helped proper up a Whyte - Chisora PPV or something. Only thing I can think of is Eddie had a sky date he needed to fill in before end of year.

 

Also Brook fighting anyone in Sheffield will do solid numbers.

 

His last fight didn’t they had to give away a load of tickets to emergency services and the rumour was dave Allen sold more tickets than him.

But this might do better again because the khan fight sounds closer than its ever been.

All the brook khan stuff is boring me silly. I'd like a crazed billionaire to kidnap them both and make them fight in private just to make it stop. Don't even tell us who won.
