Lockett knew EXACTLY what to expect. At least he thought he did. He hit Pavlik with what he thought was a good shot. Nothing happened. Pavlik hit him back. Harder than he though. Predict anything you want. Reality sets in at some point.

Pavlik TKO. Mora will hang on for dear life, that slithery snake, with some dirty ass ****. He'll avoid the early KO his ability so richly deserves, and last to mid rounds by hook or by crook.

I'm ancient compared to most of the posters on ESB, but I have learned a lot from some of them. In spite of all the fussing and fighting this is a great place to hang out, follow boxing, and learn more about it.

The Pavlik/Mora fight will be only slightly less one-sided than Pavlik/Lockett. The guy has 5 KO's, and at least one of those was completely bogus. He is nowhere near as fast as JT. In other words, he does not have the power to keep Pavlik off of him, nor does he have the speed to avoid getting run over.

I agree, but Mora is not going to trade with Pavlik. I guess that in the first place he's gonna somehow try to stay away from Kelly's punches and counter him with quick -in and out- combinations just to score points. I feel he stands a chance. Btw you gotta give him props for getting in the ring with Pavlik..

:deal Sergio will have to look out for that dangerous right that he has and because Sergio is so un-orthodox he will take him. Do not forget that Sergio is one of the most intelligent men in boxing, however, I would like it best if he were to fight Sergei for his Junior Middleweight title than retire De La Hoya at the Home Depot Center for the battle of East LA Pride! To sort of build some steam to generate more money for this fight...I do not see anyone stepping up tpo beat Pavlik any time soon (except The Snake on Sept. 27th)

Mora will look worse than Gomez did against Cotto. Way over matched. His "slick" style might help him make through a few rounds but he won't be able to escape Kelly's power for to long. Serious Mismatch.

this fight is a bad choice for sergio mora. kelly is to big and his punches are also to big for mora. Mora can be slick and he can use angles against kelly but he will make a big mistake against kelly. Somewhere early in the fight sergio will get comfortable and sit in the pocket and kelly will catch him with a huge right hand. I like Sergio and i hope he does well but i don`t think he will see round 5. Kelly by ko easily
