Showtime is serious exposure to the casual & non-fans, and that's what counts.

 

This is true. In the past, balance has been Wilder's one known weakness. (on a few rare occasions.) He's been known to stumble when moving backwards. - In the "embarrassing for several reasons" Nichols fight, for instance.

However:

1: Wilder has been working very hard on his footwork, and that is obvious in his last 3-4 fights.

2: Wilder has put on over 10 lbs in the last year, and it looks like some of it is in his legs.

3: A strong, aggressive fighter may still be able to cause Wilder to move back quickly and stumble, but Price is far from such a pressure fighter. He likes to potshot from the outside, and he doesn't have great power at all.

This year he was on Fox Sports and then Spanish Language Fox for the Mcreary fight. Not big exposure like this upcoming showtime thing though I agree.
