Norton was a bit chinny vs. 70s era sized HWs. He'd be defeated, at times w/ ease, vs. top modern HWs. Ken went all those rounds w/Ali & Holmes b/c they were not big punchers at HW. FFS Shavers, who had a middling engine & punch resistance, went many rounds w/Ali & Holmes. This. AJ has more than enough power to flatten Norton early to mid rounds. This is too easy. If AJ is aggressive he flat out KTFO of Norton, a cautious AJ comfy UD. I know this is coming. Yes, Usyk & Norton are similar in size. With both close in age, Usyk beats Norton 9 out of 10, UD or late stoppage.
Joshua. Norton lost to punchers, even bums like Shavers. Shavers never stopped/beat a good fighter except Norton.
Considering Joshua has an even worse chin than Norton’s, and that Norton hit as hard as he did, I don’t think an exchange would go in Anthony’s favour.
