Florian needs to take this into a ground trench war to win, I certainly see him as having a chance but he has to be reckless to win and I think he gets knocked out doing it.

I'm not suggesting Florian keep this standing. Florian's biggest advantage will be on the ground. If he doesn't use his jab to control the range, Aldo will just light him up with fast combinations. Imagine Pacquiao vs De la Hoya with leg kicks. Florian doesn't have to score often with the jab, he just has to disrupt Aldo's rhythm by throwing it.

Well Jose Aldo has a what appears to be a solid BJJ background but we have yet to see to much of it i think he has only finished 1 fight with submission and only 4-5 fights gone the distance the rest he won by KO.
So you get a guy who should be like Werdum taking them down and submitting them but instead you get a double flying knee KO artist instead.
As you said stoo he has good headmovement and a good reach knowledge and has some damn good leg kicks and a decent jab

I think as you said earlier, KF will look to close the distance, clinch and drain some of Jose's energy before striking for a prolonged period

Aldo is damn quick with his combos, but do you find he's two predictable with them? 9/10 it's a lead left, right leg kick right hand, and not to much of a variation on the same theme

Whether Florian is quick enough to do something about it is another matter, but my thinking is he is the type of guy who studies his opponents

Cant imagine a walkoff for Aldo either. Kenny has good conditioning, good GNP and BJJ, hes a decent wrestling a very techniqual striker plus hes big and very experienced.

Im favoring Kenny to beat Aldo. Aldo has never faced anyone near Florian. Yes Hominick is good but not as accomplished and big as Kenny, and Mark gave Aldo all he could handle. He wasnt looking superhuman against Hominick like he used to but thats to be expected with a step up in competition. I just find Kenny too seasoned and smart for him at this point.

Kenny can bang with anyone. His weakness is the takedown defense against wrestlers but his ground game is just as good or even better than Aldo.

Whatever the result of this fight is either way, it would stop the Aldo vs Edgar/Maynard talk.

I thought Ken Flo has looked a bit drained at the weight, should be a good fight though good breakdown Stoo.

I made a mistake. Its pretty dumb of me but not because of Aldo because of Kenny. He absolutely had no power in his punches, zero. His vaunted cardio disappeared for some mysterious reason and dont say because of Aldo coz Jose never pushed the pace.

One thing is clear, Aldos not as good as hyped and shouldnt even be near the top 5 p4p as Rogan was forcefeeding us.

Aldo needs more jabs to keep opponents at distance.....and then his boxing will be awesome....
