I knew going into the fight with Canelo that Cintron was going to lose. Cintron simply lacks the HEART to be a winner. I know he would break down eventually and lose--like he almost always does. He has a very tough time with pressure fighters--a la Margarito--and gets broken down.

In my opinion, Cintron will never rise above the level of a gatekeeper, and he should hang up the gloves.

I hear what you are saying. But the fact of the matter is, the dude just doesn't have the heart to be a winner. He will be nothing but a permanent gatekeeper at best. I guess that's the only real reason that he will keep fighting is to get a paycheck; because it sure as hell won't be to win a title.

If Cintron's happy being a gatekeeper, he should continue and get some paychecks. If he was hoping to make one last run at glory, he should call it a day. He's not good enough to make a splash in the division any way you look at it anymore.

Cintron has looked weak mentally as of late. However I don't think anyone should question the mans heart. Anyone who has boxed before knows that it takes heart just to get into the ring, and Cintron is a former title holder. That being said in the long run Kermit would be better off getting out of boxing now.

Max asked all the right questions in the post fight interview.
I liked what Kermit had to say.
