kermit looked like a ***** tonight. i know he got hit hard, but you could tell he was discouraged by the way he was complaining to the ref over things that were his fault. he doesnt have that mental edge needed to be great in the ring.
Cintron got nailed few times looking the referee for help a serious flaw in a boxer no survival instinct very robotic a perfect punching bag he almost start crying again because of the eye cut he is done.
Any boxer who is limited in skills will lose (9 out of 10 times) a fight where his opponent doesn't go down.
This kid just simply does not know how to fight under pressure. He took so many bombs before that wicked body punch. I thought he would have went down before that. Margarito was brutalizing him. It is not Cintron's chin it is the mental state he is in when he fights! No proper clinching, he should have tried to push Margarito completely off him and also did not even try to use footwork or gain distance. He just ducked down and let Margo tee off on him. :-( That jab and straight right were almost completely useless.
Grow some balls fool. This is an internet discussion forum. On topic: Cintron has huge balls for taking that fight, but he folds under pressure from the elite.
No he didn't fold tonight like he did in the other fight. He was actually just dropped by a very hard body punch. That can happen to any hard ass (it also happened to Margo way back when too). Cintron is not going to be an elite. It's just got to be said now. We've seen his max game and he's just going to be able to steamroll the C level fighters and maybe get in some B names, but the A class are going to beat him. I still think he knocks Williams out though.
He tried but was quitting soon after things got tough once again, but hey the guy is a pro fighter and Im sitting on my ass critiqing so I dont want to be harsh! but still Margo is too much for him and all Margo does is put pressure and throw a high volume of punches. I mean this guy lost to Williams! I cant believe Cintron cant overcome this very ordinary tough guy, I just think he menatlly get passed the challenge. He looked like a statue out there stiff and unathletic.
Dude, did you watch the fight? He was turning away from Margo and begging the ref to intervene. He was kayoed but the defeat began way earlier.
At least Cintron had the guts to fight Margarito, which is better than Mayweather running from him. It took guts to get into the ring with Margarito. Margarito beat the crap out of Williams but got robbed, Williams refused to give Margarito a rematch because he knew he lost that fight, but gets a rematch after losing to Quintana, figures.
Oh no doubt. I dislike that **** myself and it's a cheap way to try and get leverage in a fight. But that said he did not crumble like the first fight. In the first fight he was clearly beaten without being knocked out. In this fight he was knocked out clearly on a body shot. It wasn't that he didn't try. He hit Margo with everything he had. He just is not at that level. Nothing to be ashamed of.
