    Youre clueless buddy.

So Cintron who just got crushed by AM for the second time is on the same level as AM. . . but PW who barely outpointed AM in a fight where he took more damage than he delivered is a class above AM. :nut

I thought smothering margarito was a GOOD move. Margarito has long arms and his power is at the end of his punches. He will outwork you on the inside but he will KYTFO when he has room to punch. Kermits chance was to smother AM then look for room and tee off hoping to land, that was his only chance.

You ignored a couple of key nuances in my post. I guess I spelled them out in vain. :-(

Cintron is at a styles disadvantage against Margarito. In overall skill they're probably on the same level, and the list of who each guy can and can't beat is probably similar (Cintron's "can't beat" might be a bit longer, as any good pressure fighter is poison for him but not Margarito, and the slick boxers that will bother Margarito could also have a good chance of handling Cintron).

Williams is only going to get so good...he doesn't have the elite potential that alot of people hyped him up as having. But he clearly beat AM, and was still greener than a lot of people wanted to admit when he did. A better, more mature Williams is going to deal easily with Margarito, who continues to remain exactly the same as he's been for years. He is who he is, just like Williams will eventually plateau and be who he will be. Quintana is probably a little better than Williams at his future peak, let alone right now.

All four of these guys, with their wildly different styles, get outclassed by Cotto on a good night and brutalized on a great night.

Most stupidest ever, huh? Styles account for nothing in this sport, is that right?

Cintron may not ever be an elite fighter but he's always gonna be fun to watch. No reason to hate on a guy. You are what you are.

    Actually, IB is spot on

Margarito and Cintron are of the same basic level. I'd rate Cintron as a B- and Margarito a B

It's hard to believe after the beat down Cintron got, but he could look far better against a pure boxer who gives him time and space to get leverage on his power shots. Margarito on the other hand, will have his days when he looks HORRIBLE too. He's slow as ****, and his defence is porus. His chin is his defence. It is likely he looks worse than Cintron against a good mover that counters and gets away with good footwork

Cintron's weakness is probably worse, to the extent he has NO inside game at all. Everyone now knows they need to get inside, rough him up, and make him cry. His defeats will look worse than Margarito's, just as his KO's will look better

the guy had no amateur career, came from nothing, became a top 5 welterweight in the world (the deepest division in boxing) and won two world titles. lay off a little bit and keep it in perspective.

Cintron is a good fighter but not an elite fighter. He'll probably go on to be a strong gateway opponent for any WW looking to volt his way to elite status. Case in point Margarito who's know starting to get the recoginition that he deserves.
