I would prefer this fight not to happen if Bute beats Froch. It should have happened months ago, when they first negociated. Now I'm not interested. Same story with Pavlik. Don't get me wrong, I may be one of the few that believes that Kessler looked impressive against Green. It's just that I can't get over the "1 Danish krone offer" and "I'm tired of being a puppet so I pulled out" incidents. As a boxing fan, I felt insulted, no matter who was to blame. When my enthusiasm reaches the bottom it's impossible to raise it back. **** those fights!
Pavlick said in an interview a few weeks a go that the Bute fight may still happen later this year they are negotiating to do it in New York at MSG.I think Showtime will decide, it will be between Kessler,Pavlik,Dirrell(Showtime proposed him instead of Froch). I dont think Showtime will aprove a Kessler fight in Europe because the time diference for the US Market.
How about Bute-Kessler & Ward-Dawson as a double header in September?! Vegas? :think Otherwise we're looking at a lot of back and forth with the fight location for Bute-Kessler. Mind you, Kessler just fought at home, Bute defending abroad...... maybe pack the Bell Centre with 18-20K? Kessler just did 15K at Parken.
I don't know about the first two, but the guy in the pic is definitely dark haired unlike Kessler. So one can safely assume it's not him (by the same token, it can't be Bute either since -- as it is well-known here on ESB -- Bute is bald :hey).
Prime Kessler beat Bute. Don't care much about it now, since Kessler is past his prime. Fight should have been made years ago.

Half of what makes a fighter 'great' is his exposure. Kessler being seen to be looking at a Bute fight is a trick of the mind because humans sobconsciously will place them in the same ballpark. This kind of promotion is very very clever psychology. Sauerland will not put Kessler in with Bute this early. That said Bute's team should also not be overlooking Froch. Keep your mind focused on where you currently are Froch is no chump.......
