Kessler did'nt loose at all

Kessler should come back stronger and more motivated than ever. It's not like he got thrashed, he just got beat in a competitive fight with a great champ. If he doesn't come back strong I'd be very surprised and disappointed.

I can't think of any off the top of my head, but who are some highly rated fighters who lost similar to Kessler, at prime fighting age, and then went downhill fast from there..

 

No, I am not. This guy was heralded as the next champ and then he loses a unanimous decision to a 35 year-old champ with eroding skills.
Actually, I'd like to see Kessler surprise me and come back strong, but he ain't going to be doing that staying in Copenhagen. How was he able reach his so called A-level status while avoiding American fighters, anyway? I think there was a little hype.
He should fight Hopkins or Pavlik next, and if he wins, I'll join his and your camp.

Hmmm...Kessler was a Champion, although Calzaghe was rightfully Champ.

Calzaghe is in most ways a better boxer than he was in his prime, 5-6 years ago.

Kessler has travelled a lot - he fought Beyer and Mundine away from home...

He also fought Andrade, who is classed as American, because he fights there...

 

Why should he fight the American fighters when they are not the best at SMW? Just because they are American? Last I checked Pavlik was a MW and Hopkins fought at LHW.

 

C'mon. Pav can move up and Hop can come down. They are the two fighters he needs to fight.
Let's see how good he is with quality punchers. If he beats either one, I'm in his camp.

I would love to see him fight either Pavlik or Hopkins (easy way to become famous in America in my opinion), but to be honest I couldn't care less whether or not you are in his camp as you call it.:yep
