Kessler deserved the victory but croch is a ***** for complaining. he said if he were fighting at home he would have won. well no ****, he already won a gift over dirrell at home. i would fight croch in nottingham if they let me carry an axe into the ring...

Kessler won it no doubt at all.He pushed the action all night but Froch has gone up a lot for me.Two of the cards were off the mark Kess got it by 2 rounds the 117 score was way off.It was a good fight the best we have seen in super 6 and Froch has proved he can really cut it.If only the Americans involved in this would stand and fight like that. This could have been made better by not having Ward and Dirrel.Instead Bute,Andrade and maybe someone like Mundine.

I agree. I thought Kessler won. However, the fight was there for Froch to win. It seems like he was content to jab from the outside for long stretches for some reason and keep Kessler at a distance. I think he could have gone toe to toe with Kessler more, and probably won, because when he threw combos and concentrated his attack, he was landing some telling shots. He just didnt do it enough.

I share your feelings on this, I was thinking, if Froch just went to war, earlier, he would have smashed Kessler up. Froch was winning the toe to toe exchanges. Froch allowed Kessler to dictate the play and steal the middle rounds. Kessler benefited from Froch's inactivity at times, just didn't go out there and grab it, until the 10th round when he really turned it on. I think if he had done that sooner, could maybe have cut Kessler earlier, and maybe forced a cuts stoppage before the 12th round.

so yeah in some regards, Froch kinda threw it away, rather than Kessler winning it.

Froch hit air the first 2 rounds. I don't score points for hitting air. Kessler was landing solid jabs. You watched the fight on an internet stream, and I watched it on Showtime HD. :deal

If you don't watch the fight and just see the Sauerland reaction at the end you presume Kessler has totally demolished Froch, they seemed a little to confident for my liking.

Wow! what a fight.... I was sitting beside a gang of Englishmen in the pub, watching the bout ... boy were they sad at the end of the fight... They were unanimous... Froch LOST the fight... We all had it at least 115-113 Kessler. Given the circumstances ... the fight was fairly judged.

So... does anybody still belive that Froch is in the top 3 SMW ? ...... I didn't think so!

I had Kessler rounds 1 and 2, Froch 3 and so on. But many of the first rounds were close.

    He could be...

I can see this top 3:

    1. Ward
    2. Kessler
    3. Froch

The issue is how Bute fits in? We have no way of knowing really with him fighting guys like Miranda. Everyone in SS would do a clinic on Miranda. So I'm inclined to have Bute after the SS fighters unless he fights a Hopkins or Dawson. Not Bute's fault and I am a fan, but realitically he just has no way of showing much when there is noone to show it against.

Sorry but Froch doesn't beat Ward, and if Kessler fights him again, he kicks his ass anew. Bute is top 3 ... hence Froch is not top 3

They were, and give yourself a pat on the back for getting the first 3 rounds correct. However, Froch stepped it up, then Kessler took the late mid-rounds. Then Froch closed the show. It was a draw or close Froch decision fight. Nobody I watched it with thought Kessler won, and Bernstein and 2/3 of the press row had it for Froch. I respect that, especially more than many misguided ESB posters.
