Kessler is a solid fighter but stiff in the upper body and susceptible to quick right crosses. He was stunned by Sartison because he never moves his head and Pavlik will also make him pay. This will be a great match up though because Kessler can do things that can trouble Pavlik as well.

    Has he?

Who were the great swarmers he faced? I don't think he's fought a good swarmer in the Andrade mould. He certainly ain't faced a multi-dimensional southpaw, there isn't one anything like Calzaghe.

He's fought quite a few sluggers, and a quick athletic boxer so far.

It depends on how they come forward, careless or behind a jab.

I'm counting zuniga as a swarmer, and say what you will, McKart is pretty crafty. No one on Pav's resume' is in the same class with Joe, but Joe rendered that irrelevant when he misplaced his balls. By the way, do you have them?

Ya damn skippy. :D Unlike other Kelly P. nuthuggers and bandwagoners around here I've been watching this guy for quite a while now and I know what the **** I'm talking about in regards to Kelly.

As far as the Kessler fight goes I stand my my prediction in saying that Pavlik would lose to him as of now. Kelly is still a little green in some areas that I think Kessler would expose, but Pavlik is showing improvements. So taking on guys like Mora and Abraham would be a good road to Kessler for Kelly. It would help him to iron out any kinks in his armor before he gets to a Kessler level fighter. Although personally I'd like to see Pavlik in there with Abraham RIGHT NOW!.. **** Mora!

Maybe you could start a poll and see where people think they are. "Someone" could be choking on them for all we know.

THAT is it in a nutshell. The only question that people can have is based on the Calzaghe fight. In the Calzaghe fight Kessler showed he has all the tools but he hesitated to use them and was baffled by Calzaghe in the middle to late rounds. Only in round 12 did he give up trying to figure Joe's style out and let his hands go.

Can Pavlik baffle Kessler in a similar fashion? Who knows... probably not.

True. after round 4 or 5 Kessler actually said in Danish to his coach, "I don`t know what to do".

Not true... They responded: Hit him harder!

Like saying to striker in football/soccer: Score goals!

    and still is..

you should have heard them in the sartison fight, his original trainer richard olsen, telling mikkel to do one thing, next round this montoya dude told the exact opposite..

cant remember seing a fighter bringing to 2 coaches to ringside. at least not so called "HEAD" coaches.

Both Kessler and his corner had a hard time adjusting to the atmosphere in Cardiff! 50.000 people surely is gonna have an effect on everybody.
