Lets say for arguments sake it makes $10m, that's giving Kesslers team to split a good 30% when they're giving in to fly over to Canada and fight in Montreal.

Silly things, lets say on the other hand Kessler has a belt and exercises his emeritus status to fight either Ward/Froch, he'd probably be given a percentage of the full revenue, whereas with Bute all he's getting is dodgy numbers.

Talk all you want ladies : A DUCK IS A DUCK. Don't give me that resume and Kessler fighing away ****. If you are called PFM Jr and you take a vacantion and lose the urge to fight, you're still a duck, no matter who's on your resume.(If they wanted the fight (kessler team) they should counter Bute to come to Denmark if $3mil is not good for you)

Just before the Kessler tune up I make this thread reveling the duck and Kessler's nut lickers jumped right on me

    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=314223

When you go ringside and travel to make negociations for a fight, make satlemets like : I will kick his ass anywhere & then you don't tune up with St Juste, don't tune up with a southpaw, take on nobody to become the mandatory for the Stieglietz belt, REFUSE A $3 MIL OFFER AND DON'T MAKE AN CONTEROFFER.......THIS IS STATE OF ART DUCK IN THE MAKEING

I'M NOT SAYING THIS IS ALL WRONG FOR KESSLER......BUT A DUCK IS STILL A DUCK.

I'm offering Bute to come fight me in my living room for $500.

    He's a duck.

On an honest note, boxing is a business moreso than a sport, if you can't get that through your thick skull then you might aswell go jump off a bridge, lad.

Showtime had a budget of $50m for the super six tournament, and that's not counting the TV revenues.

A $50m budget, signing bonuses and total hometown TV revenue + world wide exposure = peanuts?

    Hardly.

12½M DKK per groupstage fight in the s6 was the deal. That is roughly 2½M USD per fight.

Sauerland counteroffered InterBox. Likely offering the same for a fight in Copenhagen as Interbox offered for Montreal but Bute was reluctant to leave Canada.

Let's be real here. Nobody really wanted this fight at this moment in time hence the lowballing. Now they know the position which might lead to real talks in the autumn.

I dont really know.. But it is a totally different situration.. Kessler was the champ back then, was recognised as the #1 SMW and wasnt coming off a career threating injury.. He was looking for big fights, so the S6 was a golden opportunity for him.. Right now he might still want a fight or two before taking on someone dangerous, he is made mendy for Stieglitz, so why not take the belt and the money? Instead of taking a tough path to Canada riskin to lose and a career stop for 3 mil... He also have his emeritus status.. Taking Stieglitz's belt and then challenging the WBC champ is the smartest move..
