    Indeed, Farhood and Bernstein talked about the fact that Dawson is actually TOO SMALL for 175.

    Typical **** from Kessler. Will this guy ever fight a live body? He doesn't want anything to do with Dawson. He knows Dawson's style would give him fits.:yep

    Figures Dawnson has fought 160-175, but they say he is a cruiserweight. They don't want the fight because they think he'd get his butt whooped.

    Palle just said on Danish tv that Kessler will only move up if it is to face Calzaghe or Hopkins. And even if they were willing to fight Kessler it would have to be at catchweight 74 kgs which I think is something like 170.

    Bad timing, too. they'd get a lot more out of this fight after Kessler unifies and Dawson gets a little more fame. It's a tough match up for Kess, but he'd take the fight after a couple of wins, and when the money is right.

    Sounds like to me Kessler wan't as confident as some of his fans were about his chances against Bad Chad.

    Dawson could fight at 168 lbs in two weeks, if he really wanted to! This is crazy!!! Cruiserweight? WTF?? Kessler would most likely outweigh Dawson on the night by quite a bit! Palle is a twat!:patsch

    I don't think you read my post at all. I did not talk about rushing fights I talked about what a sly feller Palle can be in managing his fighters:D

    I'll translate a few key points from that article...

    - HBO are very interested in Dawson-Kessler

    - Palle says Dawson is coming down from cruiserweight and he loses five or 6 kilos to make weight whereas Kessler loses 1 kilo after training

    - Palle says Dawson is not a big name, Mikkel has boxed for big money, and the money is not enough in this fight

    - He is asked if he thinks Dawson could do something with Dawson, Palle says he don't know and its a lot of risk for less money than Kessler deserves

    - Palle says it has not damaged his relationship with HBO, they are interested in Kessler

    - He says Kessler wants to meet anybody in the SMW division, and a boxer can't easily be in 2 weights, look what happened to Pavlik against Hopkins

    - He would fight Calzaghe or Hopkins at 170-172lbs if they struggle to make SMW

    - Kessler will fight in Feb or March

    Kessler is a great fighter but it seems like his team really doesn't believe in him.

    Hopkins might give Kessler a fight, or he might go after Dawson, if Kessler is seriously considering a fight with Hopkins, that is respectable,
    also, if he starts going after the other title holders at SMW, or if he fights the title holders at middle weight, Pavlik/Abraham at SMW, that is respectable as well. However, anything else is really just pathetic after the competition he has been in with.

    He practically did. He did what he had to do already at 168. The money and challenges are at 175. I rather see Kessler vs Hopkins or Johnson.

    160 = 72,6

    168 = 76,2

    170 = 77,1

    175 = 79,4

    :good
